Show Notes
As broadcast January 13, 2021. We spotlight Johnny Cash's great comeback album of 1968 to start with his rousing performance captured in "At Folsom Prison," recorded on this date. In part 3 we head to Cambodia with Barbora, so we get into the terrible tragedy of a generation of brilliant musicians lost to the Khmer Rouge's genocide. Although gone, their music lives on forever, and has planted the seeds in a new generation of Khmer audio brilliance in modern times.
