TWU Chapel

Welcome to the TWU Chapel podcast. Chapel is a space to engage with and respond to God's story of redemption in Jesus Christ. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11 AM, all members of the Trinity community are invited to join us for a moment of worship and a short word. Cheryl Jean-Paul is the head women's basketball coach at TWU. Since joining the TWU family, she has built the Spartans program into a perennial playoff contender, highlighted by the 2017-18 season when they posted a 16-4 record, finishing fourth overall in the Canada West playoffs.

c Her team has been in the playoffs in five of the last six seasons.

Internationally, in 2019 Cheryl was the head coach of Canada’s FIBA U16 Women’s America’s Championship team, winning a silver medal. She has also been a key coach within Basketball BC, as the head coach for the U14 girls’ red team in 2011, the U15 girls’ red team in 2012, and the U16 girls’ team in 2015. Furthermore, as the assistant coach for the U17 girls’ team, they won silver at the 2013 Canada Games.

Take a moment to refocus on Christ with the Trinity Western University Chapel Podcast.

Hosted by Chaplain Ed Gerber, Chapel messages are delivered by a wide range of speakers and seek to touch on topics of special relevance for today's Christian. Devotion services are facilitated by Associate Chaplain Jennifer Graves, and include immersive student led contemplative, meditative, and Christian spiritual practices to refocus and refresh.

TWU Chapel seeks to empower the Trinity Western University community to think truthfully, act justly, and live faithfully for the good of the world and the glory of God through worship, Word, and reflection.

TWU Chapel services can be experienced daily on the Trinity Western campus in the David E. Enarson Gym at 11 a.m.
