Ravel

Why is it so easy to cherry-pick the verses we want out of the Bible to support our positions? Is it ignorance, malevolence, or some secret third thing? Josh thinks it may be due to a bias of the written word. Emily tries to explain the Bible like we're 5 years old. And Stephen goes on a rant only to end up saying cherry-picking is okay and in fact he does it all the time.

What is Ravel?

We all grew up in different parts of American Christianity, and we still keep thinking about how to take it seriously, even as we leave some beliefs behind. Join us our round-table discussion as we ravel out our faith in a complex world, pulling on one thread at a time, seeking Meaning at the end of it all.
