Reading 1 Samuel Chapter 26

David and Abishai sneak into the camp while Saul is sleeping and procure Saul's spear and water jar, which must have been distinctive, because they are then used to verify that David and Abishai were close enough to kill Saul if they had chosen to. David then accuses Abner of dereliction of duty and pleads with Saul again to stop trying to kill him. Read from the World English Bible.
