The fundamental divide between Left and Right are rooted in the Left's embracing of Industrial Era prejudices. Their Utopianism, Collectivism, Materialism, and Statism stem from the blind optimism that asserts that we humans are capable of perfecting ourselves, each other, and our society through intentional effort. Pre-Industrial religions and philosophies, including Judeo-Christian faith, Confucian philosophy, and the Enlightenment philosophies behind the US Constitution, know better.
