After 42 years at Radio Merseyside, legendary phone-in presenter Roger Phillips turned off his mic for the last time on 28 August.
 
Undoubtedly the best-known voice on the station, Roger’s show was the linchpin of the station’s schedule and over the years has become the legend in the region’s lunchtimes.
 
In this episode, Roger shares his memorable guests, explains how the phone-in works behind the scenes, and tells us how he felt about the reaction to this retirement announcement.
