Ascend Men

Jesus has many names, each of which highlights a different part of His character or His mission. Last time we looked at His main two names: Jesus and Christ, but today we’ll look at a third, which is also found in the first chapter of Matthew’s gospel. Immanuel. Quoting the prophet Isaiah, Matthew tells us that this boy, born of a virgin, will be called Immanuel, which means ‘God with us’.

Today's Scripture
"All this took place to fulfil what the Lord had said through the prophet: 'The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel' (which means 'God with us')." Matthew 1:22-23, quoting Isaiah 7:14

Key takeaway for the day:
God is always with us. What one thing can you do each day to remind yourself tangibly of this wonderful truth?

What is Ascend Men?

It's a bunch of men who want to do life together and in doing so, get closer to God, to each other and to those around us. This podcast supports that mission, by inspiring and equipping men to be who God intended them to be.
