Alright, so All Out from Hoffman Estates is in the books. See, when you live here in Illinois like we do, we know that's not Chicago. But it's fine. It's fine. so my buddy Mike is going to guest co-host because Dug decided to leave town on a day of a pay-per-view. The hell are we doing with our lives here, Dug? But anyway. It's fine. so let's begin as we always do with the heat check. So I figured what Dug and I have been doing is one of us just does it and I know you listen, so you've heard this. You're one of like f th th thousands of people that listen. Mil millions even. Sure. Yeah. S someone give us money based on that claim alone. But anyway, so I'll read off mine. You tell me what you thought if you agree or not. Okay. Fantastic. All right. So here is my hot list. Remember there are varying degrees of heat, just like with, you know, chicken wings. You can have really spicy and then you can have the like that had a little kick to it. So remember that. So we're not gonna do a lot with the pre-show, but I do want to mention coach juice, which was hilarious. in my opinion. Coach Juice is hot. Yeah, that's definitely on the hot list. I liked the the the like Sunday night football style entrance with the Death Riders, particularly Marina saying Will Ospreay's a bitch. Yeah, it's just th the Death Riders being in that goofy spot is is kind of a a s a strange strange juxtaposition but Overall it was fun. It's pre-show. Whatever. It's hot. It's exactly. It's pre-show and and I at least appreciate that they leaned into this is a goofy match. Which. Like this is goofy. We're just gonna lean into it. So. Yeah. Andrade and PAC were great. Terrific. I gave the TBS title match I think I think if the TBS title match had not been preceded by the injury to Steven Borden, I probably would put it on my mild list, but I'm gonna give them credit 'cause they did well in a really tough spot. Yeah, they won the crowd over. and obviously a terrible situation they were following. Yeah. that that was a death spot and they mostly got the crowd on their side by the end. I'd agree. That was hot. Yeah. So good on them. I'm gonna leave actually speaking of that tag match. I just left it off because how do you rate something Where a guy had to go to the hospital, you know what I mean? Yeah. I agree. What he did before what happened, I thought mostly looked crisp. He looks great. They're highlighting his athleticism, talking about his combine stats. yeah, he's a freak athlete and it's it's what happened is terrible. You can't really rate that. you know, we can debate all day whether or not it was too early for him to be in a spot like that. Yeah. everything he did up to that point looked awesome. Yeah. I agree. I agree. Okada and Ciampa are in my hot list. That might have actually been one match. Apparently. Yeah. Yeah. Apparently. If you ask Tommaso at least, which you know, as we talked about during the show, it it it's I I get where he's coming from talking about the the, you know, if we'd cross paths back then. Nobody was really talking about that, but I'm glad it finally happened now. So yeah, it was hot. It it's i the show d I think thought, you know, what pros both those guys are doing the comedy stuff, doing the yeah the the crowd work and then getting down to business and having, you know five star close to a caliber match that you know those guys can have in their sleep. Yeah, absolutely. also within that match, I gotta shout out Ciampa's daughter who was really funny doing the double guns and and and and the crowd giving her the happy birthday chant. I thought was great. So that whole thing was really good. the women's tag match was better than I thought it was going to be and I didn't think it was going to be bad, but a lot of the time those street fight matches don't hit well with me. It's just not my preferred style. But I thought it was pretty good. Yeah, that one was probably trending a little towards mild for me. I thought that by about the midpoint w of the match it was a appropriate amount of violence for that match. I I thought it kept building to a great finish, so yeah, I I probably would have been inclined to go mild with with that one until until a hot finish for sure. Yeah. Yep, I agree. the trios match was excellent. Yeah, everything that that Kofi and Creed have done since they've come in has been hot. I mean not exactly Not a surprise by any means, yeah. Not by any means a surprise, but they've been a and I think Austin Creed for me has been, you know, not the revelation but the guy that we we saw Kofi hit those heights in WWE. We saw him win the world title, we saw him have a WrestleMania match with Danielson. Co Creed's the one that I think is really spreading his wings compared to what we saw of him before and he's having an absolute blast. you know, all all three of them are obviously but You know, Creed's the one for me that's been, you know, revelatory. No, I I totally agree with you on that. I think him kind of stepping into mo I think he stepped into more of the spotlight, which is interesting given that Swerve is part of the group. Right. But but Swerve has kind of stepped back a little bit to give him that. And absolutely. He has been he's been great. I mean, he's been really, really good. Him squaring off with Brody tonight was excellent. I thought they were really fun together. So great job. Bandido, I want to single out. him out as well because everything I thought he did in that match was great. He was just from the jump. He was funny, but he did I mean the spot where he had all three of them on his back and he's a freak. He is. He's I've I'm not holding out hope for him to get the big moment that you know he should get at this point. you know, I I think that everybody watching him on a regular basis is is waiting for that. But y just appreciate the incredible performance and and not hope for you know, any emotional payoff at this point, but it is what it is. Yeah. Is he still the ROH champion? As far as I know. Okay. That's he hasn't I don't I felt like he hasn't worn the belt in a while, but I don't I don't know. But yeah, as far as I know. it just dawned on me I didn't actually finish the heat check, but it's fine. Willow versus Thekla I thought was really good. You know, I th I thought I'd I'd probably lean more towards mild that way. That's that's fair. I I I thought it never really got out of second gear. Okay. You know the the finish was a little abrupt and they were building to something better at by that point, but it it never really got out of second gear for me. That's fair. That's fair. It was I I I think In the moment I think I remember w thinking to myself, like, well, it's gonna be kind of borderline. So me saying really good there was probably just because I'm riding the high of the show itself. sure. You know what I But it was yeah, And that's probably two of my five favorite wrestlers on the planet right now. that was pro that was, you know, easily one of the two or three matches I was most looking forward to. but yeah, it just it it it never really got to another level for me. No, I I agree with you on that. I agree with you. the not TLC TLC match was really fun. Yeah, and you know, like we talked about during the show, I thought what was smart there, they didn't try to play the hits of the old TLC matches. we had the promo the other night where the the young Buck said, Well you you two are the Dudley boys here and obviously the the continuation of the analogy is they're the Hardies. Right and Christian are Edge and Christian. Yeah. But they didn't they didn't play the hits. They didn't try To copy anything from those matches. They played the very modern train train wreck ladder match style, and I thought that was actually a smart move. Yeah, I agree. And I really thought they were going to recreate the spear at some point off the ladder. I'm glad they didn't. Cope can be done jumping from very high things for the first time, I think. And then the main event gets on the hot list as well. On the mild list, the finish of Thekla. Versus Willow was was oof. We definitely agree with that. Yeah. It was a very abrupt and bland ending to a pretty good match. Yeah, you could talk me into the the Willow Thekla match overall, be it on the hot list for sure. But yeah, the finish was definitely Okay, well, that's the match. Well, that happened. Okay. Yeah. Ospreay's long Assassin's Creed intro is on the mild for me. It almost got dropped down to the Mayo list because look, if you're into Assassin's Creed Assassin's Creed, I'm sure you enjoyed that. Yeah, this continued c crossover is for somebody, but it ain't me. Yeah, I I played like one of the games and went, okay, I'm good here and I've never played that two years ago I was sitting in Wembley Stadium watching the entire thing on the full, I don't know what I'm watching. It's pretty cool though. Yeah. Did you go to to Wembley? I had not heard of that before. I've been there. This shirt was purchased inside Wembley Stadium. Huh. It was. That's I'll tell you about it sometime. That's weird that we've never talked about that. Now, on the way home, did you run into anybody in the airport by chance? No, they ran into me. They ran into you. my apologies. Yeah. Bryan Danielson came up to me and said, Sir, do you have a moment? I said, Sure. Ha ha ha. I I'm certain that's exactly how that went down. I was wearing a White Sox shirt at the time. You just wanted to point laugh, which that's fair. Yeah. At that point it was fair. It was. Yeah. and then I am gonna throw this on the mail list, the Assassin's Creed sales pitch tie into the intro. Like I look, I get it, get your money, but it's fine, but whatever. Yeah. Like okay. I'm gonna make fun of it. Yeah. Especially when it was already too long. So all right. all right, so let's run down the show. Although we we we could probably just stop there 'cause it's late and I'm tired. But let's run this. I know. of kids that I need to care for in the morning, so nah, you're fine. so we opened with PACk versus Andrade for the national championship, which of course was excellent because it's those two, and how could it not be? That's another match I would have loved to see in twenty eighteen, but we saw it in twenty twenty six and it was dope as hell in this year too. Yeah, I we've talked about this on the show. I think this is the best version of Andrade that we've seen in the US. for sure. Yeah. I would I would absolutely agree. Yeah. I don't know. I'm I'm gonna guess they're not gonna run that back. I think we're probably gonna keep doing the Andrade on the fringe with the contract and the tension between him and Ospreay. Yeah, and we'll I'm sure we'll talk about that more when we get to the main event. But probably but it's a dynamic I love right now, and it could go one of a couple different ways. Yeah. one way I think I would really love, another way I which seems more likely, I fear, is going to happen, but yeah, yeah. We'll we'll talk about that more when we get to the main event. Yeah, yeah. But all that is to say I wouldn't wouldn't mind if they ran it back. I just don't think that got it. then we got the tag match between Darby and Steven Borden and Proto Jet and you know, in the moment, of course, we're going, Well, wait, is is he really hurt or is that a you know, is is that how what what I wrote down as you can see there, Mike, is I was like, Well did he really get hurt or is this how they're gonna give Proto Jet the win without making either Darby or Sting Junior take the pin. Right, yeah. And I was wondering at first at it was very quickly clear by them not cutting back his and that was bad. Yeah. It honestly, i i is it probably too early for for for Steve Borden Jr. to be in that spot. It probably is. Probably, yeah. I thought everything he did looked crisp as hell. I thought he was, you know, getting great reactions just like he has in you know, his TV matches so far. Yeah, I i that that's a that's a big, big spot for a dude that's been working for a couple of years that started in his thirties. He's got the athleticism to do it. But man, I I just don't know if that's the time to bust that out. Yep, I I agree. I mean I get it that it's your first pay-per-view match and you want to make a splash and like you said, he's got the athleticism. That much has been clear from the jump that he is incredibly athletic. So I I can understand why, you know, when they were putting the match together they thought, this this will be cool. I get it. Sure. Yeah. It just yeah it was probably for even these guys to be competing that close to the championship if you're gonna go Yeah, you know late. Not just from perspective of, you know, how ready he is. Yeah. It's have we built them up enough that this really makes sense that they're in the tag title pitcher. Yeah. So from either one of those perspectives, either from you know the kayfabe perspective or, you know, the real life perspective of of putting Steve Borden in that spot, you know, i i it was it was too early. It was. It's it's easy to say in hindsight. You know, certainly plenty of people were probably saying that before we got to this moment too. Probably. But again, I I can't say enough that I thought everything he did before that moment looked fantastic. Yeah. No, I I agree. I mean, I've been very impressed by him since he made his TV debut. I think, you know, assuming that that there are no long lasting effects out of this, which you never know, but if he's able to come back, I I think he's got an incredibly bright future. Yeah. I it's basic stuff he's doing, but basic stuff you know, applied with freak athleticism looks great. Yes. And and he should be doing basic things, which is, you know, kind of leads us back to this might not have been the time, but and it's not like he was doing an overly complicated spot. It was a big jump. He's he has incredible leaping ability. Yep. I think it would have worked out fine. It looked like he he was a beat early on it. That's it. Yeah. Yep, he was a beat early. And just needs to slow down. Yep. I think that's exactly what it was. So anyway, hopefully I mean the update we got later in the show from Schiavone seems like it's pointing to really good news. So sure, you know, all the best to him and I I hope that he's able to get back in there and do get back on course, you know, because like I said, I think he's got a bright future. I think I'm very impressed by him. Dog hair. then it was Persephone versus the mystery Challenger in the open challenge that was Dani Luna, which had you and I going, Should I know who that is? Yeah, she seemed very, very vaguely familiar looking her up. She's most known for NXT UK. Yep. I very, very vaguely remember her from the Short time I watched that show on a regular basis. Yeah. The short time it existed on a regular basis. So I I had to look her up too. And I went before I looked her up, I was like, wait, is she in and now I can't even think of the name of the group, but this group that I've seen in MLP, because I I've watched a little bit little bit of MLP. Yeah. And I was like, that is her. Okay, okay. So and I it's gonna bug me now that I can't remember the name of the group. well. But anyway, it's somebody's gotta bumble through something 'cause Dug's not here and that's usually his job is to go, it's it's it's right on the tip of my tongue and and I anyway, somebody had to do it. But I thought she came in to Yeah, I don't remember. When you say it I'm gonna be like, Yes, but I thought she came in and looked pretty good. especially given that you're walking into a really tough spot coming off the injury angle. Or not angle I should say. You're coming off the the you know, the scary moment with the injury. Right. You're gonna tough spot. Yeah, it's a really tough spot to come into. It's death spot And i it might have been anyway, because that was a a match the crowd was hot for. Yeah. You know, that that might have been a spot that they were, you know, kind of baking in a cool down anyway. which would make sense given the the opponent that they had to have known the crowd wouldn't be familiar with. But but yeah, I I thought they did everything they could to get the crowd back on their side by the end of it. Really really good match, you know, three and a half, four star match I would say, w you know, without hesitation that You know, they had to fight to get the match to that point and get the crowd on their side to to get it there, but I thought by the end they did. Yeah, I I agree. And people got behind Dani Luna despite I think probably a decent amount of the arena not knowing who she was. I th I thought she looked good. Yeah, she looked great. Brit was I thought really funny. I agree. Yeah, she's been hilarious. Yeah, I think she's been great since she came back. Very happy she's back. Then Okada versus Ciampa for the international title. This may v thi I'm between two for Match of the Night, and this is one of them. And first of all That's probably my pick, yeah. Yeah, Ciampa coming out in the Doctor Doom mask is interesting, and they already have the t shirt, if you the one he's wearing is available if you're so interested. But it was really good. I mean, I thought, like you said, they balanced the comedy with what these two are able to do really, really well. Yeah. I love this version of Okada. From a character perspective, it's my it's my favorite version of him by far. Yeah. And, you know, that's been it I I was worried when he was coming to AEW that the it was Nakamura coming to NXT. Where he still had some great matches there, but the it was very much the okay, strong styles taking it out of me. I'm I'm coasting from here on out. Yeah. And y he he may never be, you know, twenty eighteen, twenty nine twenty nineteen Okada in the ring again. He's close enough with the the character work that it's it's probably my favorite version of overall. Yeah, I agree. And and I think using him relatively sparingly in matches is a good thing 'cause it it makes it matter more when he does get in the ring. They still make Okada feel special even though Yeah, he's I I hate to say probably not ever gonna be world champion. It doesn't seem like he's Th there's just too many younger guys in line at this point that they, you know, can truly build around. But they still make his matches feel special. Yeah, totally agree. And this was this was an absolute banger tonight. I think this is the best Ciampa has looked in AEW. you yeah, for sure. It this was a banger. The absolute banger. Yep. then Divine Dominion and the Brawling Birds for the women's tag titles, like I said in the heat check. This is not typically my cup of tea of a match, especially when barbed wire comes out. It makes Me very uncomfortable. And they did that again tonight, which is usually a good sign for a match like this. That's what I feel like they're going for. So good job. Yeah, it's it's not my cup of tea either. It's the kind of thing that I enjoy if the story makes me care about it. Yep. where, you know they've been feuding for a while, but I don't know that it's a story that makes me care that I to the point where I it justifies blood and gore. But it made me uncomfortable and and it but I enjoyed it by the end. So Yeah, exactly. Yeah. If you can get me out of my comfort zone and and present something to me that's not my cup of tea, but by the end I like, That's pretty damn good. Then Okay. Yeah, I think you did a good job if you can do that. Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah. So good on them. then I I am curious to see where we go from here though. Because this feels to me like the blow off. I'd hope it is. I would hope so too. But I don't know what you do with Divine Dominion and and I don't know who the next challenger for the brawling birds are. I maybe it's gonna be Queen Aminata and Mina? I don't Right. That's kinda the only other women's tag team they're working right now. Yeah. It's it's not the deepest division. Yeah. So, you know, if they if they don't blow it off if if if this was not the blow off, then it's out of necessity as much as anything. Yeah, I think it's I think you're absolutely right. Yeah. It's 'cause they didn't have anybody to go to. So not a deep bench, so it is what it is. I'm very curious to see where they go next though. It might just be they disappear for a little bit, for all I know. I yeah. then New House and Brohangdo, as we like to call them around here, for the Trios titles. as I put here, when Kofi and Bandido started off, I didn't I did not know That like, I need more of them wrestling in my life, but here we are. I need more of them wrestling in my life. They were great. The Creed Brody interactions too. Yes. There's there was like a little bit of an electric charge in the crowd and I'm like, I don't know where this came from, other than these guys are both dope as hell. But As soon as they're in the ring facing off, like, this is an instant chemistry that I had not been thinking about and and here we are. I wanna see more of that. Yeah, and and I really liked what they did with Swerve and Hangman of like they're staying apart from each other until they couldn't anymore. Yeah, see w after All In last year, I I d that was one of those storylines that made me not wanna see those dudes fight each other ever again. Exist in separate f spheres if you want, have an uneasy alliance, but I Like it was just too tidy of a bow being wrapped on that storyline to make me ever want to see them fight again. But the way they're doing it as kind of like annoyed siblings with each other. I think it's a tremendous dynamic. Yes, you're absolutely right. They are they remind me very much of my dogs. Get very annoyed with each other. Well I don't want Swerve or Hangman cuddling with me, watching the next pay-per-view as much as your dogs did, but Are you sure? They might it might be great. They might be dynamite cuddlers for all we You know what? Let's not rule it out. All right. Fantastic. All right. We'll put maybe cuddling with Swerve and Hangman on the on the hot list. It means one of them has to fart in my face, though. I'm not looking forward to that. But anyway, that's a that's the one I'm going back and forth between that and the Okada Ciampa match on Match of the Night. Yeah. It's it's those two for me. I would agree. I'll think about it and make a call at the end. Then Willow and Thekla squared off. Pretty like we talked about, pretty good match. I did enjoy Julia Hart waving to the crowd when she did the run in. I thought that was really good. Especially because she has been so in the background. Yeah. She really has. Like It has so been the Thekla featuring Sky Blue show. Mm-hmm. So it was nice to see her kind of do something here. good match, but like we talked about, that's a flat finish. It was. Yeah. It was weird. Yeah, I mean we can debate on whether the match as a whole was was hot or mild. i I was very much borderline between the it was good. It was very borderline. It was yeah. You know, Will and Thekla are not probably ever gonna have a bad match. Yeah. but yeah, definitely a flat finish. Yeah, real flat. Flat finish to An otherwise pretty good matchup. And you know, an anti climactic finish is not necessarily ever the worst thing. That's true. But that wasn't that. It was just flat out It was flat. Yes. Yeah. I it felt to me like even the live crowd went, wait, what? Yeah. That was three? Really? then this was another match of the night contender for me. I'm still gonna keep it mostly between the two that I've talked about, but the not TLC TLC match. yeah. Like we talked about earlier, i I thought doing a modern train wreck style rather than try to recreate any sequences or s and as I say that I th there probably is something that they they pulled from that I'm sure there is that I didn't catch but overall, you know, the the structure of the match was much more a modern match and you know given the teams involved that was almost a little bit subversive. I thought it was gonna be kind of a you know not maybe if not a shot for shot remake of of the old TLC matches, framed in that manner and it wasn't. Yeah, I mean I fully expect I fully expected FTR to hit the three D. Yeah, we talked about that too. I mean that that you know, for all the inside baseball that is unnecessarily played in this promotion, you know, that seemed like a slam dunk to Yeah, I thought for sure they were gonna hit the three D. Yeah. And I thought if they do that How are you gonna call them the Dudley boys and have them not hit the three? Yeah, exactly. But I thought if they do that, then do Do the young bucks break out like a either the twist of fate or does like Nick hit the swanton? That's true, yeah. You start you you you pull that thread, where do you stop? Then you're right. Then you are just, you know, playing the hits and that gets lame as hell in a hurry. Yeah. So maybe it's better that they didn't, but you know, I think they probably could have got that spot in without it just becoming a complete, you know, nostalgia fest. Yeah, especially if they'd done it through a table. Yeah. yeah, yeah, yeah. But anyway. Find an old woman to power bomb through the table. Exactly. Yeah. But I'm glad I'm with you. I'm glad they didn't do it. I'm glad they made it their own. And I'm really glad the Young Bucks won. I was very afraid they were not going to, which would have very much parked them in purgatory, in my opinion. And I'm really happy that they won. Yeah, I mean, they very well could be done soon. I have my doubts that we're gonna see any finite end of the Young Bucks or of Kenny Omega in the near future. But if We we we we we may not see a a last, you know, proper run after this. This might be the last like last run, yeah. Yeah. Th this might be the last like full blown tag title run they have where they're defending the title at a pay-per-view for at least a few months. you know, this this might be you know Bryan Danielson in twenty twenty four right now. Yeah. I think that's a great comparison. I I think we'll still see them a couple of times a year here or there after they're done full time. But yeah, if if this is it as far as seeing the Young Bucks on a regular basis being the best tag team in the world, yeah, I said it They are then so be it. Yeah, this is I'm I'm glad I'm glad it's h not so be it. I'm glad it's happening. I should I guess I should say. Yeah, no, I I I yeah, I know what you mean. And and I agree. I mean yeah, they deserve one last real good run. 'Cause I'm not sure they've had like they've ever really had like a great run with the AEW tag titles. And I think a lot of that stems from especially the first year of the company, the elite was so focused on putting everybody else over. I guess your mileage may have varied on the Nicholas and Matthew run. I mean if they're a great run, that was it. That's a yeah, that's a good point. But I think, you know, this is a chance to put a nice bow on their career if this is it. Yeah. I mean i if everything after this run is is a post script if if it's the you know triple H from twenty ten to twenty twenty schedule from here on out, okay. You've earned that. Yeah. Yeah, they have. Yeah. But it was really fun, really good match and and I'm glad they won it. And they're gonna be really good with Proto Jet, I think. I agree. Can't wait for that one. Yeah. then randomly Wardlow vignette. Yeah. That that's that's cool. I feel like we've seen the same vignette before and he showed up and he was hurt five minutes later and then that was that. And I think that's probably how it's gonna go again. Until until proven otherwise. Yeah. Yeah, I don't w yeah. I I I hate joking about people being I do too, but but I it keeps he kee it keeps happening to him. I don't I don't know what else to say. It keeps happening. I you know. I hope we're wrong. I do too. I I hope that he can have a sustained run. 'Cause that stuff he was doing with the TNT title a while back was actually it was great. Pretty good. He's an element that AEW doesn't have a lot of. Yeah. You know, th there's not a lot of just flat out old school roided up power wrestlers and there's still a place for that. Yeah. He's never gonna be the world champion. No. He probably never was gonna be, even if he'd stayed perfectly healthy, 'cause that's just not been there there's just not a lot of evidence that Tony wants to put the belt on someone like that. Yeah, he I think Tony values work rate a lot. yeah. I mean there there's no I think obviously he does. And and but there's there's a place for Wardlow power bombing some geeks and it's it's a you know, it's still a three ring circus. There s there should be something under the under the tent for everybody and Wardlow brings something that there's not traditionally been a lot of in AEW, so here's hoping he bucks history and stays healthy. Yeah, absolutely. And then the question is will he be in the Don Callis family? 'Cause the last time we saw him he was, or will he be out on his own? I'll be honest, I I did not remember that's what it was last. Yeah, and I knew he was at one point. Immediately got hurt. Yeah. That's right. That that was the last time that he was back for five minutes and got hurt. Yeah. So just gonna angle that a little bit. There you go. You're fine. You're fine. and then it was main event time, Ospreay versus Moxley for the world title. I mean it was great. Not not else you can not a lot you can say about that that We didn't expect. Yeah. It was exactly i it unless you just flat out don't like either of these dudes. Right, which you knew this match was gonna be great, it was great. Not a lot Newsworthy that happened in the fallout of it. Which is surprising. A little bit. And it and it's surprising to me because they had time. Because we ended at eleven twenty central, which is a weird time to end. It is, yeah. And it made me wonder did they never fully make up the time they lost ending the tag match early because of the injury? Which is possible. But but so you could look I I'm guessing Wednesday night we're gonna see think, I hope, the breakup of the Death Riders and the start of the Death Rider Civil War. Yeah, we've been here before with me thinking that Yeah. That was coming to a head and it hasn't. And we've been going on almost almost a year of that being the case now 'cause I mean that you can go back to the the Continental Classic w with Mox winning it last year was the the first time that it looked like we were heading there 'cause he d he had the multiple losses to Kyle Fletcher, right? Yeah. And, you know, we'd certain seen the consternation. Kyle O'Reilly. Gee Kyle It was a thing it was a wrong out of it. Wrong Kyle, the different Kyle. Sounded wrong as I said it. Yeah. The multiple losses to Kyle O'Reilly. you know, the the the little looks they were giving each other. Mm. Then Mox wins it without help. he wins the Continental Classic and they're all together and but you think that seed's still been planted and they've kinda revisited a couple of times here and there over the last year. They're back to kind of throwing those hints out of the the Death Riders Civil War. Yeah, they're definitely teasing it. Yeah. I I'd hope with it being revisited at this point that we're actually going somewhere with it. I would hope so too, especially with Mox putting the belt on Ospreay's shoulder after the match and you know putting him over when at least some of the Death Riders didn't care for that. So I don't know. We'll see what happens on Wednesday. It's real similar story beats to what we've seen them do already that kind of fell by the wayside. So, you know, it it's not new ground we're covering here. Yeah. But it's coming back up where it hid had been dormant, so Yeah. I'm hoping we're really going somewhere. And if if we're not, I'm losing faith that we're ever going anywhere and I'm just accepting that the Death Riders are a permanent part of our lives in some way, shape or form. Yeah, I mean at that point they're basically the NWO. Like they're just gonna be there forever until the company and at least we're not just haphazardly adding members here and there. And and you know, the general story and ethos of their existence still is the same. Like the reason they exist and and their continued existence together makes sense. It's not like it's right a nonsensical existence or anything. Yeah it's it's time for this to come to a head. Yep, I agree. So we'll see if they pull the trigger on Wednesday. I was very, very surprised they didn't do it tonight. But yeah. So that's All Out. I mean overall if you were gonna give the show a grade, what would it be? probably B/B-plus. Yeah I don't think it's in the upper echelon of AEW pay per views. maybe not necessarily the upper echelon of all outs, but you know, the the mid tier of AEW pay per views still leaves a lot of room to be a damn good pay-per-view and was. Yeah, I I I agree. I would put it in the B/B-plus range as well and by AEW standards, that would be like an A for pretty much any other company. You know what I mean? Like their pay per views are so good. So so good. So when you get one like this, it's you can look at it and go, this is a good show. But by their standards, by their bar, it was some room. Yeah. You know, they left some room for cream if you're a coffee drinker. It was nothing that makes me dread watching on Wednesday. Exactly. You know, yeah. That maybe is better left for weekly TV with the whatever's coming out next with the Death Riders. Yeah. I I I wish there wasn't another pay-per-view in three weeks. That's the interesting part of it, is they have three weeks to build the WrestleDream. So with Grand Slam before Yeah, with Grand Slam in there. It's just a weird time in the calendar ever since All In was added in. it's there's a i there's a lot going on and none of it feels quite as important as it should. Yep. but it's all good. Yeah. We'll keep watching it. Yeah, we'll see what happens. So yeah, we'll see what happens. Who do you think is the next contender for Ospreay? I don't know. Because, you know, you know, why what we we said we'd talk a little bit more about the the Andrade dynamic. Yeah. and you know, I think that's not the next challenger, but that's the what they've built to the most so far for what's next. Yep. And man, there's a couple ways that could go. I and I I hope it's similar to the MJF Adam Cole dynamic. Yeah, I agree. Where, you know, we know that these are rivals for the title, but, you know, the d the relationship that develops kind of supersedes that for quite some time. I I really hope we're not seeing just a flat out Andrade heel turn to set that match up anytime soon. there's just too much momentum with him as a character. I agree. Even if he's not winning the world title. And on Andrade might not ever be a world champion. As hot as he is right now. Yeah. He might just not be the guy that you make the focal point of your company. Yeah, I it's entirely possible. I I a couple months ago I was pretty convinced we were absolutely headed for him as world champion. I'm a little bit less so now just because of I I still think Ospreay is gonna get a pretty long run with the belt. Like I'm I'm thinking minimum four months, but probably like six. So yeah, I don't think he's gonna say hold it to All In next year. Yeah. But after after Hangman only had it for three, four months, following a a a you know, an emotionally resonating title win similar to Ospreay's. Yeah, that's true. I think we need to see a baby fa a and booking baby face title runs is one of the hardest things in wrestling. Yes. regardless of what company. yep, it is. But I I think Ospreay needs you know, six, seven months at least. I I agree. Yeah. So it I'll be curious to see who they line up for him next and 'cause I I don't think it's gonna be Andrade yet. So I'll be curious to see who they line up for him. I'm curious to see what they do with Mox and all that stuff. And if you Plus Andrade can still call a shot. So I don't think if and when that comes, I don't I don't think we're setting up, you know, it's it's Andrade and Ospreay full gear in three weeks. No. Yeah however that comes to be is not you know yeah. It's not money in the bank, but it's not They might do it at Grand Slam now that you mention it. I could see that. I could see it. If if they, you know 'cause, you know, if we're following the MJF Cole dynamic, they had a match bef well before the All In match, if I recall. Yeah, they did. And you know, that's i i if you if you want to keep building that storyline and build that out some more, I don't think them having that match now is gonna stand in the way of anything you want to do with them you know, over the next two, three, four months. Yeah, I agree. I totally agree. So We'll see what they do. It's gonna be an interesting, somewhat of a sprint build to WrestleDream, and it'll start on Wednesday.
