Reading 1 John Chapter 5

John wraps up his letter by explaining the three ways that God witnesses that Jesus is the Christ and Son of God. He then tells us that as we believe in the name of the Son of God, we can pray for anything that is according to how God does things and be assured that God will give us what we ask for. He ends with stating that the evil one has no power over us because we are in Jesus Christ, so keep away from idols. Read from the World English Bible.
