I've been bartending on and off for 12 years now. 00:00:27:07 - 00:00:30:20 Carl My name is Reilly. I have bartended before. Here you go. 00:00:30:22 - 00:00:34:01 Riley One time in the back of an alleyway. 00:00:34:03 - 00:00:36:05 Carl The other business. 00:00:36:07 - 00:00:58:00 Riley If you want to hear how Riley and I met, she. All right. So we hear a third laughter in all of us. We have our good friend, Nick Anderson. Nick Anderson is a bartender at the Riverboat Lounge. I have been training this young man for a year now, which is pretty been fun. How are you doing today, Nick? 00:00:58:03 - 00:01:01:17 Nick I'm doing great. Appreciate you guys having me on. It's always good seeing you, as always. 00:01:01:19 - 00:01:02:08 Carl As always. 00:01:02:09 - 00:01:10:00 Riley It's like deja vu all over here. 00:01:10:02 - 00:01:24:03 Riley We are the train and we are off the fucking rails. I love this episode. They're always the. Now for the you, the guest listener. But for us. The hosts. Yes. So it's a good time. Nick, a quick little elevator pitch for everyone listening to you. 00:01:24:08 - 00:01:25:07 Carl Tell us who you are. 00:01:25:07 - 00:01:36:13 Nick For sure. Bartend part time at the River Lounge. Financial planner. Running for a practice under a Fortune 100 firm. Bodybuilder. Dancer. Model. I do all the things I do a lot. 00:01:36:14 - 00:01:39:03 Riley Yes, he does everything else. We don't do it right. 00:01:39:05 - 00:01:39:21 Carl Right. 00:01:39:23 - 00:01:47:04 Riley We live vicariously through him. And he lives vicariously through us because he's a good, you know, like he does all the good things in life. We do all the bad things. 00:01:47:04 - 00:01:52:13 Carl Right, right, right, right. Good influence. Bad influence. Right? Yeah. 00:01:52:15 - 00:02:11:05 Riley Yeah. Nick's been bartending. This is your first bartending job, correct? Yep. That's. And so it's kind of cool working with someone who's never bartend before. You. I guess I don't know how much you will get more of this, but real quick, like, were you much into cocktails before you started? Or just didn't even really know what the cocktail world was like? 00:02:11:07 - 00:02:24:20 Nick A little bit. Just I had a friend, one of my best friends worked at the riverboat loans craft and stuff and making stuff. I'm like, Oh, first time I ever saw egg white in a drink, right? You're crazy. Yeah. And then I sparked the whole debate on eggs not being part of the dairy category and all that. Right. 00:02:24:21 - 00:02:25:12 Nick Real fun. 00:02:25:14 - 00:02:26:05 Carl Yeah. 00:02:26:07 - 00:02:34:13 Riley But now you're definitely, I think, you know, you're eager to learn, which is great. You know, you're diving into it, and now you're a boujee drinker, just like us. 00:02:34:14 - 00:02:37:14 Nick Yep. Thanks to you. 00:02:37:16 - 00:02:38:08 Carl All right. 00:02:38:10 - 00:02:40:09 Nick Thank you. And thank you for making jokes. 00:02:40:09 - 00:02:43:21 Riley He took the red pill, and now you know what good cocktails taste like. So. 00:02:43:22 - 00:02:46:02 Nick And now I can enjoy anything anywhere else. 00:02:46:03 - 00:02:47:08 Carl Ever, Ever. I got to. 00:02:47:08 - 00:02:50:19 Nick Scan the bar before I wear something like. All right, well, what can they not mess up? 00:02:50:20 - 00:02:52:13 Carl All right. 00:02:52:15 - 00:02:57:07 Riley Water soda gets a gin and tonic. I don't know. 00:02:57:13 - 00:03:02:19 Carl I mean, yeah, but that can be messed up. They can burn that. Yep, that can be bad. 00:03:02:21 - 00:03:25:00 Riley So on this podcast, we like to drink because we are we tell bartender stories and we're all bartenders in some fashion. So today we're doing I kind of threw it together just to see, look around, find out we do an old fashioned riff, a little honey sirup, two dashes, or she does and go ounce and a half of all forest or rye whiskey and then an ounce of the bourbon from Castle and Key. 00:03:25:02 - 00:03:28:20 Riley Yes. It's not too bad. It could use some playing around with, but. 00:03:28:22 - 00:03:29:14 Nick It doesn't suck. 00:03:29:15 - 00:03:30:10 Riley It doesn't suck. 00:03:30:11 - 00:03:33:09 Carl That's. I mean, that's all you can ask for at this point, right? 00:03:33:11 - 00:03:50:01 Riley So what we do on this lovely little podcast is we tell or we read bartender stories off the Internet through the eyes of the guests or the bartender read it through one through five, one being your average story, five being a unique situation that we never seen again talk about the story could have been changed, could have been handled differently and just have fun with it. 00:03:50:01 - 00:04:05:01 Riley And then we have a guest like Nick. He's going to tell us a story that he either saw or was a part of. So it's going to be interesting because he usually works with me. So I want to know if the story is with me or one of the few nights I was not there that I've not heard yet. 00:04:05:01 - 00:04:13:17 Carl You were probably busy gabbing, probably like you. You were definitely there, but you're busy talking about the cocktails you were making and being cast. 00:04:13:19 - 00:04:18:18 Riley It takes a lot to be me. So we'd like to start writing. 00:04:18:22 - 00:04:36:14 Carl I yes, I grabbed this story from Reddit. Okay. From the tales from your server subreddit called Glorious Moment, a customer called out an absolute asshole bar guests and the user who posted it was unsupported device. Don't know if that's the actual user, but I love it. 00:04:36:17 - 00:04:38:10 Riley It's great. 00:04:38:12 - 00:04:58:17 Carl So here we go. Lady comes in to pick up an order she made on mine. I went and asked the takeout server if it was ready. The take out screen was completely full four pages of orders, which is crazy for take outs for us. But okay. Not to mention I'm also putting guests on a 20 minute wait at the door because the kitchen staff is absolutely buried and you just can't keep piling that shit on them. 00:04:58:22 - 00:05:20:23 Carl I tell the lady how busy we are and that it will be a while and offer her to wait in an hour at our bar for a complimentary soda or chips. She rolls her eyes and sits down already a red flag. About 4 to 5 minutes later, I am wiping a table down near the bar and I hear her literally yelling over and over again, Just saying, Waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting. 00:05:21:00 - 00:05:45:23 Carl She's just yelling the word waiting over and over like a fucking child. And I tell her that she needs to calm down and that everybody is waiting and they don't really want to either. This upsets her. Then she starts yelling, Fucking waiting, fucking waiting, fucking waiting. Over and over, all the managers are on the line helping the cooks, so I am getting prepared to ask her to leave myself with a woman at a table nearby walks up, She tells a lady that is throwing a tantrum to grow up. 00:05:46:01 - 00:06:02:10 Carl She says, Ma'am, while you're busy acting like a goddamn child, my nine and ten year old are over there waiting patiently. They're not screaming, being rude or making anyone uncomfortable. You should be really embarrassed of yourself that you haven't learned how to act in public. I am embarrassed for you. Then she just walked away. I was in shock. 00:06:02:10 - 00:06:21:07 Carl I couldn't even move for a minute. The lady throwing the tantrum just stood up, called our restaurant asshole and stormed out the door, ate it. So the server that had this table, we'll call her Rachel, has the last day off. So I messaged her on our work Facebook group. I asked her if she knew the lady that was the hero at all, or even maybe got a name so that I could thank her myself. 00:06:21:10 - 00:06:37:16 Carl It turns out Rachel didn't know her personally, but she said she recognized her Slash knew her first name because the hero works at a wine and spirits slash small grocery shop. I went and said to the I went to said grocery shop to see if she was working so I could thank her personally. She wasn't there yesterday, but when I went back today, she was. 00:06:37:20 - 00:06:58:04 Carl I do watercolor paintings in my spare time, so I made her card with a little cactus on it, thanking her for helping me deal with all the bricks. It was a simple card, but I also included a $20 gift card to our restaurant that I purchased for her myself. She was so sweet and so thankful and told me that it felt amazing to finally be able to call out an asshole since she's had her fair share. 00:06:58:06 - 00:07:05:10 Carl She's lovely and I told her if she stops in when I'm there next to please request me and I'd take care of her. Just that you'd appreciate my updates. Thanks, everyone. 00:07:05:16 - 00:07:07:02 Nick Damn, that's so cool. 00:07:07:04 - 00:07:16:22 Riley Right? I guess that the ending is awesome. And I actually figured out the whole dealing with the cactus thing. 00:07:17:00 - 00:07:19:03 Carl That card. Is everything all right? I love it. 00:07:19:03 - 00:07:21:20 Riley I wish you free that. You know, it's paying it off. 00:07:21:22 - 00:07:22:18 Carl Right? 00:07:22:20 - 00:07:32:11 Riley Let's just start off with the asshole. The story. Yeah, right. Like this is before COVID, so this bitch has no idea what waiting is going to turn into, Right? 00:07:32:13 - 00:07:33:09 Carl You know. 00:07:33:11 - 00:07:40:20 Riley But, like, I get it right. Like, you make an order and they say it's gonna be ready. 23 minutes. You go there, you gotta wait five. I waited five or 10 minutes afterwards because you just never. 00:07:40:20 - 00:07:46:05 Carl I mean, even up to 15 to 20 I think is reasonable. All depending on what kind of food you're getting. Yeah, right. 00:07:46:07 - 00:07:47:07 Riley Yeah. No, go ahead. 00:07:47:09 - 00:07:58:13 Carl Like busy restaurants get busy. Um, and like, you know, the time they give you is an estimate. And if you don't have time to wait for that, then don't order out. Right. Or go get fast food. 00:07:58:13 - 00:08:07:18 Riley I'm imagining this is a Applebee's style restaurant, right? You know, like, I'm not saying is Applebee's or anything like that. I'm just saying it just seems like, you know, I guess a normal just. 00:08:08:00 - 00:08:08:22 Carl Like a chain. 00:08:08:22 - 00:08:12:03 Riley Chain or something like that. But, you know, it just I have that feeling. 00:08:12:05 - 00:08:13:22 Carl I get British vibes from this. 00:08:13:23 - 00:08:14:15 Riley Okay. 00:08:14:17 - 00:08:16:08 Carl But I could be wrong. 00:08:16:10 - 00:08:25:09 Riley Right? I mean, that's that's here. I mean, this is really I'm just trying to guess. I was just seeing this woman get set down bar, you know, here's some free chips in the pot while you wait or whatever like that. 00:08:25:09 - 00:08:28:04 Carl But yeah, I'll, I'll eat chips all day. All right. 00:08:28:06 - 00:08:32:07 Riley I'll even order a fucking beer. I'll pay for the fucking beer. I'll walk there. Right. Let's go. 00:08:32:09 - 00:08:34:06 Nick You know, I'm happy as long as I have something. 00:08:34:08 - 00:08:34:21 Carl Right. 00:08:34:23 - 00:08:38:07 Riley And there's probably a TV, right? You know, like, so there's probably, you know. 00:08:38:07 - 00:08:44:16 Carl Right. That's why I have a purse big enough to fit my emotional support book in here. I have to wait anywhere I can read my book. Right? 00:08:44:17 - 00:08:45:10 Riley Exactly. 00:08:45:12 - 00:08:53:18 Carl That's the most. It's like. But I also have the Kindle app on my phone, so I have all the books irrelevant. That's great. 00:08:53:20 - 00:08:58:04 Riley But how do you go to someone? Just keep saying waiting. Waiting Like. 00:08:58:06 - 00:09:00:00 Carl Like we know where. 00:09:00:02 - 00:09:01:20 Riley You and every fucking one else in this place. 00:09:01:21 - 00:09:03:20 Nick Right? The Karen before we started calling people. 00:09:03:20 - 00:09:04:22 Riley Karen's right. 00:09:05:00 - 00:09:09:00 Carl I mean, that's hard to happen. And a long time ago, though. That's the definition of a Karen, right? 00:09:09:02 - 00:09:09:22 Riley Yeah, it is. One. 00:09:10:03 - 00:09:18:07 Carl This woman definitely carries a designer handbag, but does not wear designer clothing or shops at an outlet store. Right. 00:09:18:08 - 00:09:18:22 Riley I bet. 00:09:19:00 - 00:09:23:15 Nick Got that. They're fake Louis Vuitton. Yeah. One that you got from TJ Max. 00:09:23:15 - 00:09:31:14 Carl Yeah. That the seams are kind of ripping out of the what is it manufacturing deficiency. Right. But look. 00:09:31:16 - 00:09:36:12 Riley I feel sorry for her husband or boyfriend or girlfriend. Wife, whoever. I feel sorry for her partner about. 00:09:36:15 - 00:09:39:04 Carl It's her husband because, you know. 00:09:39:06 - 00:09:42:11 Riley He drinks a lot. Yeah. He would really like this strict, probably. 00:09:42:11 - 00:09:44:18 Nick Honest. 00:09:44:20 - 00:09:48:16 Carl But he probably needs two more answers. Orion, Right. 00:09:48:21 - 00:09:52:00 Nick I can imagine going to bed at night just smelling like this. 00:09:52:02 - 00:09:55:07 Carl Right? Yes. Probably also drinks. 00:09:55:11 - 00:09:56:00 Riley Yeah. 00:09:56:02 - 00:10:00:05 Nick Yeah. Her, as I say, classy with her box wine, her martinis. 00:10:00:05 - 00:10:02:21 Carl Without what? The vermouth just waved over it. 00:10:03:01 - 00:10:17:06 Riley Vodka bucket, dirty dress. But yeah, it's. This is audacity. Like, where's the speed humor in this? You know, like, I mean, you've got to. You know, I've been here for ten, 12 minutes. What do we think? You know. 00:10:17:08 - 00:10:20:08 Carl It costs $0 to be nice, right? 00:10:20:08 - 00:10:20:19 Riley Well, that's. 00:10:20:19 - 00:10:21:05 Nick Crazy. 00:10:21:08 - 00:10:22:20 Carl Why it's so. 00:10:22:20 - 00:10:25:05 Riley Expensive. How much do I tip on that? 00:10:25:09 - 00:10:38:11 Carl Yeah, You don't like. She's one of those people that. She's one of those people that doesn't respect anybody. Yeah, and it's garbage, But she's also one of those people, you know, that sees restaurant workers as less than. Mm. 00:10:38:12 - 00:10:43:15 Riley Right. What's your other job? Well, she's one of those people that goes with your other job. 00:10:43:15 - 00:10:44:16 Carl Oh, what's your real job? What's your. 00:10:44:16 - 00:10:45:03 Riley Real job? 00:10:45:03 - 00:10:46:18 Carl That's not your other job. What's your real. 00:10:46:18 - 00:10:50:19 Riley Job, bitch? I make fucking more than most of you with a four year degree, right? 00:10:50:23 - 00:10:51:08 Carl True. 00:10:51:13 - 00:10:52:10 Riley Me? Not anymore. 00:10:52:10 - 00:11:00:04 Carl But it takes it. Oh, fuck you. 00:11:00:06 - 00:11:12:14 Riley But yeah. Okay, so now let's. Let's be the called the white lady, right? Because she works there. Why are you sitting there with your kid? You know, you're trying to teach them. Be patience. And then you're like, Look at the wild animal. 00:11:12:18 - 00:11:22:11 Carl At the park. Don't be that. Don't see that. That's the best educational tool is watching people do stupid shit in public and pointing it out like, Hey, don't be that. 00:11:22:15 - 00:11:23:16 Nick Right. Teaching lesson. 00:11:23:21 - 00:11:25:13 Carl Yeah, that's a bad example. 00:11:25:13 - 00:11:30:23 Nick Like, you know, if I talk about you behaving when we get in public, this is why you look like that. You see that? Look how embarrassing that is. 00:11:30:23 - 00:11:33:09 Carl If you don't listen to me, that's what you become. 00:11:33:11 - 00:11:37:01 Nick And nobody wants to be around that person. Look at her. Just. Just look. 00:11:37:03 - 00:11:40:06 Riley She has one friend, and that friend hates themselves. 00:11:40:08 - 00:11:43:21 Carl They all hate each other, and they all hate themselves, right? There's no. There's no love. Nowhere. 00:11:44:03 - 00:11:46:08 Nick They all drink together. They're wine. 00:11:46:10 - 00:11:47:09 Riley And they gossip about. 00:11:47:12 - 00:11:48:06 Carl Chardonnay. 00:11:48:07 - 00:11:50:18 Nick Oh, excuse me. 00:11:50:20 - 00:11:54:04 Carl If you offer any other white wine, they're not going to drink it. Hm. 00:11:54:06 - 00:11:54:19 Nick Rough life. 00:11:54:21 - 00:11:57:13 Carl But she's a cupcake. 00:11:57:15 - 00:11:59:14 Riley Fair but. 00:11:59:16 - 00:12:01:17 Carl Fair facade. Oh. 00:12:01:19 - 00:12:19:16 Riley So there's. She's sitting there with her kids, and, you know, she's like, Hey, don't be like this. And finally, I've had enough. I've had enough. You treating these people with disrespect? Cause she's in the same business, right? She's like, she still this woman's in the hospitality business right now, and she's had probably, like she said, her fair share of fucking rude customers. 00:12:19:18 - 00:12:33:17 Riley You know, this and like, I can't wait for this moment for myself to see someone that's just berating the entire staff or nothing ever. Nothing at all. Because nothing that you're getting at is that important at a restaurant. 00:12:33:18 - 00:12:35:13 Nick Nothingness over a drink or. 00:12:35:13 - 00:12:37:13 Riley Food over food being slowly coming out. 00:12:37:18 - 00:12:42:01 Carl Okay. Just thankful you have food, right? Like, I mean, we could go there, right? 00:12:42:03 - 00:12:45:10 Riley It's going to come out, obviously. Right. And coming out gold, right. 00:12:45:14 - 00:12:46:20 Carl It's not just sitting there. 00:12:46:22 - 00:12:50:05 Riley I mean, this is the restaurant that waited. 00:12:50:07 - 00:13:00:16 Carl But I mean, to be honest, though, would anybody blame whoever was in charge of exploding that order if they just it in the freezer and let it sit for 5 minutes? Oh, yeah. Nobody. No, no. 00:13:00:17 - 00:13:01:10 Riley Oh, we forgot. 00:13:01:10 - 00:13:02:18 Carl That'd be the best you could ask for. 00:13:02:18 - 00:13:03:15 Nick Yeah. 00:13:03:17 - 00:13:06:20 Carl Cause you could get cubes. Just a. 00:13:06:22 - 00:13:08:16 Riley Little guacamole. 00:13:08:18 - 00:13:11:01 Nick Hello, dandruff. 00:13:11:03 - 00:13:20:09 Riley But yeah, that's awesome. But then, like, even the server or the hostess who, you know, going given her own $20 worth of gift card or and stuff like that. 00:13:20:09 - 00:13:32:11 Carl So but like that is is is one of the most like I would that's something I would do like hey I really appreciate you I know that your experience here wasn't great but like I want to take care of you, right? 00:13:32:13 - 00:13:34:05 Riley Yeah. That's awesome. I mean, that just. 00:13:34:05 - 00:13:36:01 Nick Shows, like, just being a decent human being. 00:13:36:02 - 00:13:41:14 Carl Like, literally, it's okay to be. Oh, it's okay to be nice to people. It's okay to be respectful. 00:13:41:19 - 00:13:57:19 Riley There's some show where they do a lot in the hospitality industry, like a lot of restaurants and even like grocery stores where they set people up. Everyone's an actor except for like one person where like, you know, all guy's going through checkout and he's trying to pay with change. And then they get like the cashier to rate him. 00:13:57:19 - 00:14:02:13 Riley Like, don't you feel shitty about yourself? Right? And and they're getting those people behind them to like. 00:14:02:14 - 00:14:26:02 Carl The one where it's like the guy who can't read a coffee list lista or menu on the wall. Yeah. And he's like, I'm sorry, I can't read. I don't. Can you list me the sirup flavors? Yeah. The cashier starts berating. Why can't you read blah, blah, blah. And then the customer and another customer comes up here, I'll help you write like it doesn't take any effort to be decent to. 00:14:26:03 - 00:14:45:14 Nick I'm like, just because of how I'm raised. My mom's a very strong personality. So like in those situations, because I think like, like a news channel was doing that, they were putting people in those situations, what would you do? And that was definitely, I'm going to cut somebody out because I'm not like, I'm going to help out, but I'm going to lead with I'm cussing you out for being a complete asshole first. 00:14:45:15 - 00:14:57:02 Nick All right, Then I'm helping out them like, you know what? Matter of fact, let's go somewhere else. I got you where to go. I got you. Yeah, because they're going to piss me off, All right? I'm definitely not nice. Super. Oh, I'll just up. No, I'm cussing you out first, then I'll help you out. 00:14:57:05 - 00:15:05:00 Carl See, I'm the type of person that is just going to make you feel terrible, but I'm not going to embarrass you. So, like, I know I should. I know. 00:15:05:00 - 00:15:06:11 Riley That you're a better person than I am. 00:15:06:14 - 00:15:24:01 Carl But, like, what I would do is I'd help the person. Yeah. And then I would pull the the barista or whoever aside, and I'd be like, Listen, you're a terrible human. You are so nice. Yeah. No, no, no, no. Because saying things calmly like that hurts more, right? So I'm just vindictive. 00:15:24:03 - 00:15:28:14 Nick Killing all kindness. Yeah, I got. I got to raise the voice in that, you know. 00:15:28:16 - 00:15:33:23 Carl Because that makes you feel better. But my goal isn't to make me feel better. My goal is to make you feel worse. 00:15:34:04 - 00:15:42:16 Nick It's all the things that I lead with being, like, more passive aggressive. Someone be kind about it first, but I'm 100% good. And the person you. 00:15:42:18 - 00:15:43:06 Carl See myself. 00:15:43:06 - 00:15:44:11 Nick Beside reading the person. 00:15:44:13 - 00:15:48:09 Carl Right? My thing is I don't want the person being berated to be more embarrassed. 00:15:48:11 - 00:15:49:15 Riley But they're not embarrassed at all. 00:15:49:21 - 00:15:54:08 Carl Maybe it's maybe more like. Or they just want this situation over. 00:15:54:09 - 00:16:07:11 Riley Yeah. So I haven't even told you the story yet. So we are in Baltimore and we are driving somewhere. I think. I think and I think person that we named is. 00:16:07:11 - 00:16:09:20 Carl Trapped somewhere. 00:16:09:22 - 00:16:38:03 Riley And we see what I kind of see at the same time I'm sit in the front seat because I'm 60 so I don't think sit back and we both see at the same time and it looks like someone like before their bike, right. They are driving a bike and driving riding their bike on the sidewalk and they both and then trying to get up and we get closer than and realize, no, it's an older woman with her walker like one less seat walker things because we thought it was a scooter cause in Baltimore like because there's a lot of electronics goods and she's she's struggling to get up right And it's like a four lane, 00:16:38:03 - 00:16:45:21 Riley you know, downtown Baltimore thing and no one's helping her. So we stop. We both get like we don't B.S. thing. We both just get out because, like. 00:16:46:00 - 00:16:47:16 Carl That's the right thing to do. 00:16:47:18 - 00:17:04:11 Riley And we're helping it up in this lady. Super. Long story short, she has something wrong with her foot. She's just trying to get up this really big ledge from the street to the sidewalk. She's got to catch a train and she just before it because her foot, she hasn't run for one two feet. And she didn't get so she just fell on the seat, you know, And so we're helping her up and stuff like that. 00:17:04:11 - 00:17:11:18 Riley And then you hear this one car that's parked at the stop sorry, or stoplight. The woman in the past, she tries you. 00:17:11:22 - 00:17:15:00 Carl Know, there's already two people helping them. We don't have to help. 00:17:15:00 - 00:17:25:02 Riley Just fucking drive. Telling her husband who's driving like, don't help. There's already two people. Or are you fucking late for whatever guy to go to type thing? I'm like, Jesus Christ, like you could even. 00:17:25:02 - 00:17:32:15 Carl The least you could do is ask. Do is leaning right, you know, because $0 would be a ceiling free. 00:17:32:15 - 00:17:33:05 Nick 99. 00:17:33:06 - 00:17:34:15 Carl Right. Right. 00:17:34:16 - 00:17:35:13 Riley Is there tax on that. 00:17:35:15 - 00:17:37:13 Carl Oh no, no taxes. 00:17:37:13 - 00:17:57:18 Riley So yeah, we helped her up and we you know and you could tell she's a you know, and we're like, you know, there's nothing, you know, who cares? Like, all these people are going to remember you, you know, blah, blah, blah. You know, it's fine. I get it, you know, and stuff like that. And if you feel bad or so we helped her all the way to train, you know, where we 3040 minutes late to whatever going to you have to get to your shit we're just going to PA was right basically we told her she felt bad. 00:17:57:18 - 00:18:02:10 Riley She's I'm sorry. We were just going to go have a drink. We don't care. Like we've had like 20. 00:18:02:11 - 00:18:02:22 Nick Still be there. 00:18:02:22 - 00:18:04:12 Riley We've already had 20 drinks. It would be. 00:18:04:12 - 00:18:13:18 Carl Like right up. In reality, nothing is that serious. And unless it's like going to work, but even still, like, it's not that serious unless it. 00:18:13:21 - 00:18:14:23 Nick A serious leave. 00:18:15:04 - 00:18:15:21 Carl Right. 00:18:15:23 - 00:18:18:17 Riley Let's you're in your final warning. You have zero points left and that's let. 00:18:18:17 - 00:18:19:16 Nick Them do what you got to do. 00:18:19:18 - 00:18:20:18 Riley But anyways. 00:18:20:18 - 00:18:30:01 Nick See you guys for getting out and doing that cause that says a lot about you guys, this character to be like, you know what? Not even talking. Just what what's understood to be explained right now, it's like, Hey, let's just do it. 00:18:30:01 - 00:18:46:14 Riley Because at first you're like, you see, you're just like, shocked that no one else someone saw this person fall. And then what happened was another woman pulled up behind. She was I was going the opposite way. So I'd go down three blocks to her. You try to come back because the senior writing worker is no, she does want to write. 00:18:46:14 - 00:19:05:05 Riley And where she one statistic to track is that's what she wants to do. And and you know and everything I, I go I'm not from Baltimore, so I don't know what the fuck is going on or where this change because she was I've been in Baltimore two weeks. I had no idea either. And then a cop happened, stopped by cops like, you know, he was cool and helped out as much as he could. 00:19:05:05 - 00:19:09:06 Riley But we told like no medical, whatever. So anyways, I kind of just revive, you. 00:19:09:08 - 00:19:13:20 Carl Know, medical because because ambulance is here costs a shit ton, right. 00:19:13:22 - 00:19:17:18 Nick That that foot that's wrong. They need that pavement right. 00:19:17:20 - 00:19:35:00 Riley It literally but yeah it just kind of this just help people excuse me Jesus help someone just because they need help like I get it's embarrassing to, you know, when something public is happen to you but is know. I don't know. I'm rambling now. Yep. Three ounces of booze is. 00:19:35:02 - 00:19:39:01 Carl Going to cost $0 to be decent. That's that's that's the moral of this. 00:19:39:03 - 00:19:50:15 Riley Right and stuff and yeah, just and good for the white lady, you know. So, um, Nick, what do you write a story? One three, five one being an average story, five being a unique situation. Very unique. 00:19:50:20 - 00:20:06:09 Nick I wouldn't say it's a very unique situation. So I guess I'll give it like a three and a half. Okay. Just because one, I think it's an awesome story, right? As far as it just being like, unique, like, you know, if people do this stuff all the time, that might not just get out there, right? Sometimes like oh five, that's super unique, but I think it's an awesome story in general. 00:20:06:10 - 00:20:08:04 Nick So I guess the rating doesn't do it justice. 00:20:08:04 - 00:20:30:04 Carl I'm bad. No, no, I yeah, I'm going to give it give it the same score because like people being assholes every day, people screaming, waiting in, fucking waiting. There is a two or three level and then the extra half a percent is a hero coming in and being like, Listen, you should be ashamed of yourself. You do not need to do behave like this in public. 00:20:30:04 - 00:20:32:07 Carl Who taught you? Who raised you? 00:20:32:09 - 00:20:33:20 Riley I'm going to do three, seven, five. 00:20:34:01 - 00:20:35:02 Carl Because you're going to be different. 00:20:35:02 - 00:20:58:00 Riley You're also but also the lady making her a custom card. Yes. And a gift card, you know. So again, our last episode, I think even released yet for us, the higher the scored, the more compounding storylines there has to be to get higher because we've been there. Right. People yell dumb should be rude all the time you know it's a bartender. 00:20:58:00 - 00:21:01:01 Riley You're going to see it. It just happens no matter what type of bar you work at. 00:21:01:03 - 00:21:04:16 Carl And any any type of service industry. Yes. You're going to see that, you. 00:21:04:16 - 00:21:17:10 Riley Know, people freak out at fucking the grocery store because they can't return their extra flat of cans for the price and freak the fuck out, you know, like, what the fuck, you know? So, yeah, I don't know. That must be good. 00:21:17:12 - 00:21:24:04 Carl Yes, we have to just. Just be decent, that's all. Just be decent People Treat people the way you want to be treated. Who said that? 00:21:24:06 - 00:21:25:10 Nick Oh, it's the golden rule. 00:21:25:10 - 00:21:26:14 Carl Who said that? They. 00:21:26:17 - 00:21:35:06 Nick All the platinum rule is treat people how they want to be treated. Even even went a step further. You know, someone would want to be treated like that. Why wouldn't you want to. 00:21:35:08 - 00:21:47:13 Carl Right? Pretty nothing. Oh, you're just saying keep going. Yeah. Okay. But yeah, I. Why? Why do people feel the need to be mean, to be rude, to be disrespectful? 00:21:47:15 - 00:22:04:18 Nick I feel like it's projecting. Like your life sucks so much that you got to make someone else's life harder just because stuff's not going well for you or you're down and out. You got to make it bad on somebody else just because, Oh, I feel entitled. I got to project the same around to somebody, right? They're just trying to do their job right and be great and serve you as best as I can. 00:22:04:18 - 00:22:07:05 Nick And here you go, Be an asshole. 00:22:07:07 - 00:22:33:03 Riley So if you have a story that is about a nice human interaction or super asshole interaction, we'd love to hear it. Hey. 00:22:57:21 - 00:22:59:17 Carl GROSS. 00:22:59:18 - 00:23:02:05 Nick You don't know he's sniffing well. 00:23:02:07 - 00:23:05:21 Riley All right. Nick Anderson. Mr. Anderson. 00:23:05:23 - 00:23:06:18 Nick It ends now. 00:23:06:18 - 00:23:08:18 Carl And instead. 00:23:08:20 - 00:23:10:23 Riley Let us hear your wonderful story. 00:23:10:23 - 00:23:30:23 Nick Yeah, actually, I think it was one kind of similar to that, to be completely honest. That's what I was thinking. I was like, what can I say that you weren't involved in? It was actually I think I told you about it because I'd gone that weekend for whatever reason, and it was packed that night and it was just me working like I got rammed, right? 00:23:30:23 - 00:23:41:09 Nick Like, oh, it was rough, but it was cool. I was managing it. It wasn't like super spread. And I had some friends come out. They finally came down and had them try and cocktails. I'm like, Yo, you got to expand your palate from drinking, honey. Like. 00:23:41:11 - 00:23:41:17 Carl Hey, just. 00:23:41:17 - 00:23:56:19 Nick Try something different. It'll work out in my favor. But they always tried, so I appreciate it. All right. But he, you know, a buddy of mine came down with his girl. I think a couple of friends came down and packed bar. Everyone's up there, you know, sitting out there, and I'm slinging drinks. I'm not even looking up people just talking to orders. 00:23:56:21 - 00:24:08:01 Nick I'm in the zone, right? I'm just trying to do my thing and there's a couple of people that came in there kind of frustrated. It was taken a while. I have a packed bar and it's by myself and it was still early enough for people to order food. 00:24:08:03 - 00:24:08:14 Carl Though. 00:24:08:16 - 00:24:13:20 Nick Yes, I'm running down, grabbing orders and still have my packed bar. So all that going on. 00:24:13:22 - 00:24:24:11 Carl Right. And it's important to note that if people are ordering food, you have to leave the bar, go through the hotel lobby, go down the stairs, go into the restaurant, pick up the food and come back. Yep. 00:24:24:13 - 00:24:32:01 Nick Grab silverware on the way somewhere before or after and bring it to them. And then hopefully they don't ask for anything else. As I look at my pack bar. 00:24:32:03 - 00:24:34:11 Carl Oh, I'm sorry. We forgot to ask you for ketchup. 00:24:34:14 - 00:24:38:17 Nick Oh, my God. Fuck you. That happened. It was like. 00:24:38:19 - 00:24:41:05 Carl But anyways. 00:24:41:07 - 00:24:53:07 Nick The lady was nice. Like, you know what? I'll just. I'll just get up and get this here. Thank you. I appreciate that. All right. So, you know, with this packed bar, you got a couple of you are kind of set, you know, kind of giving me the look, leaning all the way over like, Oh, yeah, because you're leaning closer. 00:24:53:07 - 00:25:10:18 Nick I'm going to get you first. Just stop. Whatever. I'm. You know what? Let me just let this drink out the way and get you first, right? My bad. There was an orderly that came and I'd never seen her before. She looked sort of. Kind of familiar, but ever seen it before? It was very old. It took a while for her to get her drink and finally got it to her and said, Hey, appreciate your patience, all that good stuff. 00:25:10:21 - 00:25:29:05 Nick And she's like, She starts talking shit inside. And I didn't hear all of it. I heard like bits and pieces and I'm just like, okay, whatever. Got to get to whoever else. But my friends hear everything she's saying and they were snapping. And then I was like, Okay, whatever. Then like sometime after I got her her drink, she's good. 00:25:29:06 - 00:25:44:08 Nick Like she has no reason to still stick at the bar. She's that upset. Another couple comes in. I think this is like later on because she stayed all night. My friends are still sticking around and it's getting close to I'm pretty sure I call Last Call now. So she's been here for a couple of hours. Call Last call. 00:25:44:08 - 00:25:52:10 Nick She's a call. You're calling last call now. And I can't get any more drinks. Let's. It's kind of last call. It means if you want something now, like say it now. But you got a full drinks, though, so you're. 00:25:52:15 - 00:25:53:16 Carl Good, right? Right. 00:25:53:16 - 00:26:01:22 Nick Yeah. Another couple comes in. Well, he just got last calls and he's not going to serve you. I just called it like 2 minutes ago, so I will still serve you. Please. And listen, this lady. 00:26:02:00 - 00:26:04:04 Carl I got to really. 00:26:04:06 - 00:26:17:10 Nick Just like I just thought a whole tiff, my friend's like, Yeah, we got to go. It was like, cause we just stamped on this lady a couple of times. You didn't hear half the stuff that she was saying, you know, calling you stupid and this, this and that. And I'm like, Oh, really? Oh my. Because I to just cut her off. 00:26:17:10 - 00:26:22:02 Nick Anyway, after her two little drinks that she had just because I hurt a little bit. Now she's definitely done. 00:26:22:04 - 00:26:22:22 Carl Right. 00:26:23:00 - 00:26:43:07 Nick But she didn't order anything else, which is fine. So, you know, they leave because they're pissed off like the girlfriend of my buddy, like she was red. Like she's already kind of pasty. Jacob. Is she red? Like, just ready to, like, go at it? And I'm like, Yeah, you guys just go home. It's fine. Stuff happens, Whatever. And getting in to me, shutting everything down. 00:26:43:09 - 00:26:54:17 Nick And she starts asking questions like, Oh, so like, what time do you guys usually close? Well, now that's why I'm taking everyone out the bar, and that's why everyone's leaving now. Because it's closing time, right? You know, when people. 00:26:54:21 - 00:26:57:15 Carl Do need me to play Semisonic like. 00:26:57:17 - 00:27:16:06 Nick I need to do that. And so. Okay, cool. So she takes off somewhere. She's done. She's just chillin. I'm close, everything down, people are still hanging around. Whatever. I'm shutting down and not serving anymore. She's sitting off in the corner by the entrance door in the river lounge. We have like a little wine self-serve thing that we used to use. 00:27:16:08 - 00:27:32:17 Nick So she's sitting over by there. I didn't know she was there for a while. Everyone else is gone. She's the last person to leave. You didn't like me so much that you stuck around to the end to then, you know, while people are still kind of walking out. That older couple that came in, she's hyping me up like, Oh, you used to dance, right? 00:27:32:17 - 00:27:51:04 Nick You had the dance crew, like at the casino. I'm like, Yeah, that's me. Oh my God, I loved you guys. I mean, it's crazy because you were so much nicer than like, it's crazy. You were so much nicer then. I definitely don't remember you in this life. This is wild. Being strange. For real? Yeah. Let's get them back to what I was doing. 00:27:51:05 - 00:28:07:00 Nick Is she. I don't know, like, register what I said to her, but she just kind of went back to her little corner and then get ready to leave. And I'm like, and stuff. I'm like, All right, now it's time you need to go right? Appreciate the ground, whatever. It's just like, Oh, well, you know, Love or dance crew, you have a good night. 00:28:07:00 - 00:28:24:23 Nick And I'm like, Get you to stay blessed. And she gets the door and she's like, You know what I have to say? What if you are just the worst? I'm like, Oh, really? So you are. You have the worst customer service. You're the worst bartender. I'm like, you know, it's wild. I'm like, because everyone else is super nice to me. 00:28:25:00 - 00:28:27:10 Nick I was super patient, but, you. 00:28:27:12 - 00:28:28:07 Carl Know. 00:28:28:09 - 00:28:39:12 Nick I'm like, So I would love to say that all the customers that I had coming in tonight, all the guests that I had come in tonight, were just amazing. But I can't say the same about you. You have a good night and stay blessed just. 00:28:39:14 - 00:28:42:17 Carl All right. Well, broken glass. 00:28:42:19 - 00:28:51:00 Nick Says, I think I told you about that. It's like my friends were, like, about ready to fight this old lady. I need to go there. 00:28:51:00 - 00:29:11:19 Riley Yeah, it's like the latter half of this or the last half of the story about, like, okay, I remember you told me that. I just don't understand. Like, what would you want to be better Like these people? I don't think people understand. Like when you're by yourself in a packed bar bartending, it is impossible to give everyone the best customer service like that. 00:29:11:23 - 00:29:15:10 Riley That like one on one you throw that feel like you. 00:29:15:12 - 00:29:27:08 Carl Just when you do not have the appropriate ratio of staff to customers or staff to guests, you're not going to get the service that is like personalized and fluffy, right? 00:29:27:11 - 00:29:31:19 Nick There's no concierge for what you got going on. What do you want? Hurry up. Okay, cool. 00:29:31:19 - 00:29:32:11 Carl All right. Yeah. 00:29:32:11 - 00:29:38:17 Riley I thought people, like, were like you would stand there for 10 minutes. Oh, I'm not sure. I go, What do you been doing? 00:29:38:20 - 00:29:43:23 Carl If I have a half smile on my face and say, What can I get you? That's the best I can accommodate right now. 00:29:44:01 - 00:29:49:20 Riley I tell people, like, if you don't know, in 10 seconds, I'm moving. I'll be a while before I get back to you. I make the decision really quickly. 00:29:49:20 - 00:29:53:04 Nick That, yeah, that's going be my other story. I was like, Now I do this one here. 00:29:53:06 - 00:29:55:07 Carl You know? 00:29:55:09 - 00:30:01:00 Riley But it's so funny that it's like almost she has like a multi personality, right. And flips to switch switches. Right. 00:30:01:01 - 00:30:14:05 Nick And then when she's like gassed me up a little bit for the dance crew, I was like, you were just calling like my friends. This time you're just calling me stupid and all this other stuff, like you were talking mad trash and now you want to tell other people, Oh, yeah, he's a dancer. I love the dance crew. 00:30:14:09 - 00:30:20:10 Nick Oh, just everything but a child. A a couple set to go. Oh, no, I don't like you. Don't shout da stuff. No. 00:30:20:11 - 00:30:21:04 Riley She wouldn't. 00:30:21:05 - 00:30:22:17 Carl Do that. Well, yeah. 00:30:22:19 - 00:30:30:21 Riley So for people don't know Rebel, I was. We serve food till I'm going. Assume this was not a weekend. This is a weeknight. I don't remember. 00:30:30:23 - 00:30:32:20 Nick So I think it's probably weeknight. 00:30:32:20 - 00:30:36:20 Riley So food stops at eight. We close at 11. So that means this woman. 00:30:36:22 - 00:30:37:12 Carl Sat there for. 00:30:37:13 - 00:30:38:05 Riley Three. 00:30:38:10 - 00:30:41:00 Carl Three plus hours. 00:30:41:02 - 00:30:43:21 Riley So I don't understand. If you don't like someone for the situations. 00:30:44:00 - 00:30:44:13 Nick Leave. 00:30:44:13 - 00:30:45:13 Carl Go somewhere else. 00:30:45:13 - 00:30:48:03 Nick To be the very last person right out that door. 00:30:48:04 - 00:30:53:04 Carl Again, like our first story, this person is miserable and she wants to make other people miserable. 00:30:53:04 - 00:30:59:16 Riley Yeah, there's definitely something going on outside her outside life that she didn't want to get to, but she just wanted to project her misery on you. 00:30:59:17 - 00:31:01:00 Nick Not my problem. Yeah. 00:31:01:02 - 00:31:01:08 Carl Right. 00:31:01:11 - 00:31:04:19 Nick But a victim of a kindness on the way out the door, I was like, You be blessed to stay. 00:31:04:19 - 00:31:06:04 Carl But yeah. 00:31:06:06 - 00:31:13:17 Riley So is that the whole thing? What do you say? I mean, no disrespect, but you know. 00:31:13:19 - 00:31:22:20 Carl Well, that's. That's the definition of southern hospitality, right? They're like, Oh, bless your heart. Yeah. Yeah. 00:31:22:22 - 00:31:24:13 Riley I, I don't know. Is it to. 00:31:24:13 - 00:31:28:03 Carl Me stay blessed means fuck you. Yeah, that's 100. 00:31:28:03 - 00:31:33:08 Nick Percent. That was all the tone. It was in the smile. Oh, yeah. It was the most powerful thing. 00:31:33:08 - 00:31:40:08 Carl I have never heard anybody say. Stay blessed that minute. No, absolutely not. Yeah. 00:31:40:10 - 00:31:41:15 Riley I've been thinking about this all along. 00:31:41:15 - 00:31:46:18 Nick That like, I mean, all this people say stay blessed in a good way. 00:31:46:19 - 00:31:49:07 Carl But when you're rocking at a church that's put. 00:31:49:10 - 00:31:51:22 Nick In the tone of everything, my tone definitely did not mean I wanted. 00:31:51:22 - 00:31:52:15 Carl To be blessed. 00:31:52:19 - 00:31:57:18 Nick Yeah, Go right in hell, you asshole. Don't come back. I appreciate it. Thank you. 00:31:57:19 - 00:31:59:06 Carl Right, Go fuck yourself. 00:31:59:06 - 00:32:09:22 Riley Yeah. So bartended up for a year out of all the things you've seen or even, like, heard me talk about or other bartenders talk about, where do you write that story for yourself? 00:32:10:00 - 00:32:26:03 Nick I don't think it's unique still, right? I probably get like a two and a half three, to be completely honest, just because it's not unique. But the fact that my friends were like sitting there just chilling, they're just here and stuff and ready to fight and they're telling me and they only tell me bits and pieces right? Because it's like, I didn't want to tell you everything that you saying, I'm going to leave. 00:32:26:05 - 00:32:26:15 Riley Right. 00:32:26:16 - 00:32:28:20 Nick Before I say something I like. That's cool. 00:32:28:22 - 00:32:33:22 Riley Like, I appreciate you. Appreciate you not give me fire from my job. 00:32:34:00 - 00:32:34:02 Carl Okay? 00:32:34:03 - 00:32:39:04 Nick That's the big thing. I was like, I'm glad you didn't cause the situation. All right? I appreciate that. So, yeah, yeah. 00:32:39:09 - 00:33:00:05 Carl For me, this story gets aa1 point to the point, too. Is your friends holding their cool? Yeah, because there have been many nights that I've walked into a bar where Carl was working and I've heard people talking trash. Just because you're in the weeds, you can't get to them fast enough. Oh, my God. Service here so slow. Oh, my God. 00:33:00:05 - 00:33:19:20 Carl They only have. They don't have Bud Light on tap. Oh, my God. And I'm like, I make it my mission to sit next to those people. And one of our are a group of our friends have a podcast, and they, they say, humanize the goons. So like in movies, the bad guys, like the the goons that are carrying out the super villains plans humanize them. 00:33:19:20 - 00:33:37:05 Carl They're just trying to make a buck for their family. So I'm humanizing Carl or I'm humanizing the bartender in that moment. And I'm like, I make it my mission to, like, literally kill them with kindness and make them feel like an asshole. My job is to make you realize what you're doing wrong. 00:33:37:07 - 00:33:43:23 Nick All of it. It's like he's really busy. He's like, That's crazy. Looks like he's really busy and like, right? Like, Oh, my God. 00:33:44:01 - 00:33:57:22 Carl I mean, I know I ordered a gimlet, but. Oh, my God. 15 people just walked in. I can wait. No, no, no. Make those first. I say that a lot, too. Like, if I see he's busy. Oh, no, no, no. Get them first. I like that. This is how you should be, asshole. Yep. 00:33:58:04 - 00:34:00:05 Riley And like, bitch, you got to wait now for your drink. 00:34:00:05 - 00:34:03:08 Carl And I'm like, That's fine, because I'm or usually. 00:34:03:08 - 00:34:06:03 Riley Like, if someone order something I know you'll drink. I just make two of. 00:34:06:03 - 00:34:16:22 Carl All right, show like this is a proud this feels like this. But like most of time when I do that show, it's like I'm teaching people around me to be patient. Thank you. Leading by example. 00:34:17:00 - 00:34:17:13 Nick Look at you. 00:34:17:18 - 00:34:18:15 Riley To go. 00:34:18:17 - 00:34:19:23 Nick Seeing the Good Samaritan. 00:34:20:01 - 00:34:21:07 Riley She takes the high road. We should. 00:34:21:07 - 00:34:25:18 Carl Learn. No, no, no. It's not the high road. It's being petty. But I like it. Yeah, it's okay. 00:34:25:18 - 00:34:26:16 Riley You take a different path. 00:34:26:16 - 00:34:32:00 Carl Yeah, yeah, yeah. I want to make you feel bad without telling you. You should feel bad. Yeah. 00:34:32:03 - 00:34:41:18 Riley I like how you ended that. You know where she got all mad? Because Basic told her off? I hate the people that hate that we talk back to them. Right? I'm not your doormat. 00:34:41:20 - 00:34:46:01 Carl I am right here and talk shit for hours and I can't say shit back to you. 00:34:46:04 - 00:34:48:14 Nick There's a lot of things I wanted to say, but I didn't hear half the stuff that you said. 00:34:48:15 - 00:34:49:05 Carl Right? Right. 00:34:49:06 - 00:34:52:02 Nick The stuff that I did hear. I'm not. You know, you say blessed. 00:34:52:03 - 00:34:53:21 Carl All right. Yeah. 00:34:53:22 - 00:35:07:07 Riley I. I'm sorry. I'm a human being. You're human being. We're in talking with adults. And if you hours, I'll talk or whatever level you want to talk this conversation with. If you want to be grown as adults of mine, if you want to be college y, if you want to be 12 years old, let's go. No. 00:35:07:08 - 00:35:12:21 Nick I can't do that. I escalated. So I got to I got to kill it. Kind of like cuts the outro click and then like, no. 00:35:12:22 - 00:35:19:23 Riley I'm saying like, if they want to, they don't talk shit to me in front of my face. I'll talk shit right back to them. I'm not going to just be like, Oh, I'm sorry. You know, I'm not that guy. 00:35:19:23 - 00:35:20:23 Carl How can I accommodate? 00:35:20:23 - 00:35:23:19 Nick You know. 00:35:23:21 - 00:35:26:06 Riley I made you drink the wrong for the third time around. 00:35:26:08 - 00:35:29:09 Carl But maybe you shorter, better drink. 00:35:29:11 - 00:35:35:10 Riley All right, I'll give your story one five, because that, again, is same thing. But again, you know, I've been doing this 12 years. You've been doing it for a year. 00:35:35:13 - 00:35:48:19 Nick So yeah, I don't have anything crazy like, oh, like that moment I was like, Oh, I appreciate it, my friends, for one, because they were sticking up for me. You're absolutely the stuff that I didn't hear about how my back when I was walking around getting everyone's stuff, but also for not losing their cool completely. 00:35:48:20 - 00:35:49:22 Carl Right right. That's just. 00:35:49:22 - 00:35:50:08 Nick Appreciate. 00:35:50:08 - 00:35:51:02 Carl It. Yeah right. 00:35:51:04 - 00:36:07:06 Riley Yeah, absolutely. All right. Mr.. Ms.. Hello. Excuse you. Exactly. Words. Words are hard. Mr. Anderson? Yes? Do you have any things you like? People to plug? Maybe reach out to you if they have some financial needs or wants or just. Uh. Yeah, if they. 00:36:07:06 - 00:36:14:10 Carl Need a private dancer. Right. A private crew probably preferred to solo crew, but it's a crew. 00:36:14:12 - 00:36:26:14 Nick It's about seven of us. So we're actually performing again for the first time in three years. So since COVID shut down at Q Casino in Dubuque, August 4th, I think it's going to be like 8:00 at night. So something like that. I should know. 00:36:26:16 - 00:36:28:02 Riley You'll figure out this is closer. 00:36:28:02 - 00:36:45:06 Nick I know when I show up, but but I'm super excited for that. Just getting back together with with my guys and gal, it's seven of us, so it's like, Yo, it's been a wild ride. COVID shut everything down, and then everyone's life just kind of went in separate directions with getting married, kids moving, all those things. 00:36:45:06 - 00:36:46:03 Riley You know. 00:36:46:05 - 00:37:06:02 Nick On the financial planning side, you know, my specialty is in financial guidance. So hence people's financial futures helping them leave a legacy, get to retirement and be comfortable retirement all while growing the net worth. So it's more of for people who you have to comfort with the finances but also not comfortable. There's no minimum to work with me. 00:37:06:02 - 00:37:26:20 Nick It's just, hey, my minimum qualifications, be this the person, right? Because it's just that easy. Don't be and want to, you know, either be better with your finances or just have a second opinion. That's or where I kind of fit in with people, you know, whether it be super complicated, super easy, or worth a Fortune 100.
