When I started homeschooling year round, I tried to prepare everything in advance for a seamless year. It was unrealistic planning due to the unpredictable nature of children's learning and development. The real success in homeschooling comes from flexibility and regularly assessing and adjusting plans. Avoid burnout by regularly connecting to your why and adjusting as needed for the children in front of you.
