Karla Briones, an entrepreneur and a business strategist, has launched IDEA (Immigrants Developing Entrepreneurs Academy) and Women Entrepreneurs Meetup. She has won the 2018 City of Ottawa Immigrant Entrepreneur Award.

She coaches a lot of immigrants, Indigenous, BIPOC and women to adapt to the business ecosystem in Canada.
