Are you resting on a reputation or living in reality with Jesus? In Revelation 3, Jesus confronts the church in Sardis with a sobering truth: they had a name for being alive, but were actually dead. It’s a subtle trap to coast on past approval, manage appearances, and hide behind a good image while our inner life drifts. Jesus doesn't ask us to protect an impression, but to wake up and step into honest, daily communion with Him. True faith isn't about maintaining a spiritual reputation—it's about living in reality with Christ, the only One who has the power to heal what we've been trying to hide.
