Reading 2 Kings Chapter 24

And we have Nebachadnezzar's entrance to the scene, responding to Jehoiakim's rebellion, taking Jehoiakim and his son Jehoiachin captive in quick succession, along with huge numbers of captives of the rest of the people. Daniel and Ezekiel are likely among them. Then Zedekiah reigns as a vassal king for about 4 years and tries his own rebellion. Read from the World English Bible.
