Courtlyn Jones is the Founder and CEO of The Design Database, an online marketplace for creatives that she describes as being a cross between Fiverr and Etsy. Courtlyn took a lot of big swings to launch her business, including spending over $20,000 of her own money out-of-pocket to get things off the ground. In this episode, she talks us through some crucial aspects of her business, including receiving initial feedback, launching a beta site, dealing with difficult tech situations, and navigating finding investments for her vision.
