Mindy's Comedy Archives

Henry Zebrowski enters the archives with Murderfist at Whiplash at UCB Theater on April 19, 2010. Soon, he and his sketch group, Murderfist, team up with a Texan, Marcus Parks, and start recording podcasts. While industry tells him nothing will ever come from the podcast thing, he's also out performing on character showcases and stand up shows. You may already know the rest of Henry's story. Maybe you were a fan his Adult Swim show Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell. Maybe you love him on Last Podcast on the Left. Images from those projects do appear directly or tangentially in the archives, but we didn't get to them in this episode. We got caught up in the sheer... shock? Of seeing these early images. This does mean we get to do another episode. Thank god.

What is Mindy's Comedy Archives?

MINDY'S COMEDY ARCHIVES is a visual podcast featuring intimate interviews with the people who have been an instrumental part of the New York comedy community for the past 20 years. In each episode, our guest flips through a chronological stack of photos (starting with their very first "Mindy") using each image to unlock specific memories about their evolution in comedy. We'll touch on memories of early struggles and day jobs, to breakthroughs, friendships, and career shifts in an ever-changing industry.
