Reading 1 Samuel Chapter 7

The men of Kiriath Jearim apparently treat the ark with appropriate reverence and keep it for 20 years. Samuel admonishes the people of Israel what they should do if they are really returning to Yahweh with all their hearts. Then, there is a battle with the Philistines that involves remarkable thunder.
