Ep. 47 ELIJAH GARCIA on The Empire Boxing Podcast. Arizona native and undefeated pro boxer, Elijah Garcia (16-0, 13 KO's), joins Coach J on this week's episode. Elijah is the WBC Latino Champ, the WBO Intercontinental Champ, he's ranked # 1 by the WBA, # 2 in the USA by Box Rec and #9 in the world for his weight class. Elijah was a multi-sport athlete growing up, playing football, baseball and he even wrestled before he started to focus on boxing. Elijah comes from a long line of boxers, 4th generation to be exact, he is currently coached by his Dad, where he gives some insight into what it's like working with the father/son coaching dynamic. Elijah gives his predictions on some upcoming fights and talks about his next bout, where he will be appearing on the Tank Davis card June 15th.
