In “What Life Are You Building?”, Pastor Chrissy Cole teaches from 1 Timothy 6 about building a life that reflects Christ in public and in private. Paul’s instructions challenge the church to reject false teaching, pursue contentment, fight the good fight of faith, guard the gospel, and place its hope in God rather than the uncertainty of wealth.
Through four searching contrasts, this sermon asks whether we are building lives of comfort or discomfort, earthly wealth or eternal worship, self-indulgence or servanthood, and personal gain or generosity. Chrissy explains how correction produces maturity, why biblical knowledge should lead to humility and transformation, and how faithful generosity can draw others toward Jesus and bring glory to God.

She and her family poured their lives into the local church and were changed by God. Chrissy attended Evangel University in Springfield, MO and earned a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations.
