Why do we experience a sense of homesickness even when life seems to be going well? In Ephesians 1:7–10, Paul shows us that Jesus has come not only to forgive our sins but to free us from the things that enslave us—and that God's ultimate plan is to unite all things in heaven and on earth in Christ. Until that final homecoming, the church is called to give the world a glimpse of what life will look like when Jesus makes all things new.
