Chad Fleck is a modern homesteader in Central Illinois. He and his wife are raising five children on a small livestock farm where they raise and sell broilers and have a milking cow. Fleck sat down with Vance Crowe to talk about how he and his family make decisions about raising children in a modern age including why they go to the effort of educating their children at home, the value of apprenticing, how they selected a church and the value of having children young so that you can have a multi-generational relationship with your ancestors.
