Philip Yancey is an American author whose work pertains primarily to the spiritual issues of our generation. His books have sold more than fifteen million copies in English and have been translated into forty languages, making him one of the best-selling contemporary Christian authors. Two of his books have won the ECPA's Christian Book of the Year Award: "The Jesus I Never Knew" in 1996, and "What's So Amazing About Grace?" in 1998. Today at Chapel, Philip shares on the beauty found in embracing the grandeur of being created in God’s image. He reminds us that since we are God’s poiēma, we are called to show His love to the rest of the world.

What is TWU Chapel?

As a vibrant part of campus life, chapel creates opportunities for us to hear and be changed by God’s story in Jesus through worship, teaching, prayer, the Word of God, and storytelling. Sound biblical teaching and real-world experience are always in dialogue, and in chapel you’re invited to join the conversation. Stay connected with us and explore new messages from chapel posted weekly on our feed. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11 AM, all members of the Trinity community are invited to gather for a moment of worship and a short word. Throughout the semester, you'll also have opportunities to hear from special guests in our local community and abroad.
