Aren't you suppose to stay "true to yourself" and "don't change for anyone" . . . I'm sorry but do you even know who your TRUE self is?

One of the listeners of Weaver and Loom, Abdullah, asked a question on change--and brought up some bad advice some of his friends have been giving him. Namely, don't change or you'll no longer be your true self.

The memes, and quotes, and cliches of staying true to yourself and never changing is the most incredible amount of rubbish I've ever heard. 

This line of thought is terrible on so many levels... listen to this take down.
