In this episode, Nathan shares what it’s like to grow up beleiving that it was up to him to take care of his own needs. He tells a story of the deepest pain he’s experienced through the loss of a family member and how in that time his type Seven defenses kicked into high gear to keep him from feeling the depth of grief and pain that was buried deep inside. He talks about his need for sobriety and grounding as a Seven and how these virtues actually free him from his self-imposed limitations.
