Reading Amos Chapter 1

Amos introduces his writings by stating that he is a herdsman or sheep breeder. He is writing during the overlapping reigns of Uzziah king of Judah and Jeroboam king of Israel. Then he begins with explaining how a number of nations will be punished because of their cruel wickedness. Read from the World English Bible.
