Tiffani believes business is the greatest platform for change, but many businesses are hesitant to embrace or implement change because they are not sure of the next right steps. Organizations of all sizes and various industries have repeatedly asked Tiffani how to grow, engage with customers, and expand reach. She has compiled her advice and knowledge on the subject into her book, “Growth IQ.”
In the book, she says it is essential to understand that there is no prescribed “right move." Instead, companies should focus first on their internal inertia. This means leaders need to stay connected to their employees and stakeholders, listening to their feedback, being willing to change, being intentional with their actions, and training employees to do the same. Salesforce has ramped up their communications during COVID-19 to build community and provide value to their employees and stakeholders by holding more consistent video calls, bringing in prolific speakers, emphasizing overall wellness, and encouraging collaboration.
Tiffani sees the future of work as a “work-from-anywhere” situation, which will allow for balance, flexibility, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and needs. With this setup, companies can be sure to serve their employees and stakeholders well by focusing on their internal inertia.
