Beyond President's Chapel @ Elim Bible College

The message, based on the Second Book of Kings 13:14–19, teaches that believers are like arrows launched by God into different areas of the world to advance His kingdom. The speaker explains that during the Week of Prayer, students are being prepared and “sent out” into various callings such as ministry, business, the arts, or strengthening families. Using the story of Elisha and King Joash, the speaker highlights the importance of passion, persistence, and obedience in responding to God’s direction. Joash only struck the ground a few times, showing limited faith, and therefore received only partial victory. The central message is that God is preparing and launching a new generation with purpose, encouraging them to embrace spiritual depth, receive guidance from older believers, and boldly live out their calling as “arrows” sent to bring God’s light and transformation into the world.
