Today we begin a magnificent book, the book of Deuteronomy. It is a reminder of Israel’s history in the desert and a reminder of God’s instruction before they go into the promise land. The main thrust of the book is that there is blessing in obeying God. It will go well with them and us when we don't repeat past sin and when we choose to honor God in our future.
