The Summer of Soul, the Oscar-winning documentary, touches on so many things that ASJTW Host Andrew Langer loves - soul music, the politics of the 60s, and his fascination with Mount Morris Park in Harlem (also known as Marcus Garvey Park).  In this interview, recorded in July of 2021, Andrew sits down with the 3 producers of Summer of Soul and talks about the film, the television special that gave rise to it, the politics of the summer of 1969, and both the music and the musicians involved in it.
