The New Flesh

In this week's episode, Ricky and Jon interview Michael Leunig. Leunig is an Australian cartoonist, writer, painter, philosopher and poet. His commentary on political, cultural and emotional life spans more than fifty years. In 1999 he was declared a national living treasure by the National Trust. In 2021 he was cancelled for a now infamous cartoon called "Tank Man" which was critical of the COVID-19 vaccine mandates. We discuss the current censorious climate, as well as his life and work as an artist.
