Out of Our Minds

Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” The goal of conflict is to make peace. To put it another way: in this world of sin, there will be no peace without good men fighting for it. Go, fight, win.

Conflict is inevitable in this world of sin. It just is. If you understand that, then you’ll be able to understand that a godly man’s goal in conflict is to bring peace. Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” A peacemaker is not a man who has flowers in his hair. A peacemaker is a man who has mud on his face and blood on his shirt because he’s been doing the hard work of making peace.
