In this episode of the Tafseer series, Shaykh Dr Aḥsan Hanif explains Surah Al-Anbiyāʾ (21:36–44), where Allah ﷻ describes how those who rejected the truth mocked the Prophet ﷺ and turned away from His remembrance. These verses remind us that previous messengers were also mocked, but those who rejected their message faced the consequences of their actions. Allah ﷻ warns that His punishment can come suddenly, and no one can protect themselves except through His mercy. These verses teach us not to be distracted by the temporary pleasures of this world, to turn back to Allah, and to remember that true protection comes only from Him.
