शिल्पम्

कदाचित् कश्चन सज्जनः 'आ बहुभ्यः वर्षेभ्यः पूजां कुर्वता अपि ईश्वरदर्शनं न प्राप्तं मया' इति कञ्चन महात्मानम् अवदत् । तदा सः महात्मा अवदत् 'ईश्वरस्य प्राप्तिः केवलं काचित् पद्धतिः नास्ति । अपि तु तत् शिल्पम्' इति । ततः सः एकेन निर्दर्शनेन पद्धतिशिल्पयोः मध्ये स्थितं भेदं वर्णयति । ईश्वरदर्शनमार्गान् सर्वे जानन्ति किन्तु तं मार्गम् अवगत्य स्वकौशलम् उपयुज्य च ईश्वरप्राप्तिः नाम किञ्चन विशिष्टं शिल्पम् । यदा तद् ज्ञायते तदा ईश्वरप्राप्तिः शक्यते इति अवदत् महात्मा । महात्मनः वचनं श्रुत्वा पूजया सह इतोSपि परिश्रमः ज्ञानं च अपेक्षितम् इति ज्ञातवान् सः सज्जनः महात्मानं नमस्कृत्य ससन्तोषं प्रस्थितवान् ।

A gentleman once said to a saint: “Though I have worshipped for many years, I have not attained vision of God”. The saint replied: “Attaining God is not merely a fixed method—it is an art”. He explained the difference between method and art: everyone may know the path to God, but realizing Him requires skill, effort, and inner refinement. When this art is understood and practiced, God-realization becomes possible. Hearing this, the gentleman realized that along with worship, greater effort and knowledge are also needed. With satisfaction, he bowed to the saint and departed.

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
