speak. 00:06:59.680 --> 00:07:03.660 So a couple of things that we're going to look at and we want to point at 00:07:03.660 --> 00:07:08.220 and kind of lay as a foundation for us as we go through Christ, the more we realize we need him, the more we 00:11:19.900 --> 00:11:22.220 cling to him, the more we're dependent on him. 00:11:22.360 --> 00:11:25.100 And our prayers should be a reflection of that. 00:11:25.220 --> 00:11:30.320 When we look at the Pharisee and the tax collector that came before that, that Jesus told about 00:11:30.320 --> 00:11:31.560 it in that parable, right? 00:11:31.640 --> 00:11:34.360 The Pharisee stands up and says, look at me, look at what all I've done. 00:11:34.460 --> 00:11:37.340 And the tax collector proclaims his dependence on the Lord. in prayer. 00:17:10.320 --> 00:17:12.320 So let's look at this phrase real quickly. 00:17:13.000 --> 00:17:18.200 Continue steadfastly means to devote oneself or to be strong in something. 00:17:18.840 --> 00:17:27.660 So Paul says, hey, get strong in this, be devoted in this, be devoted in prayer, be strong in 00:17:27.660 --> 00:17:27.960 prayer. 00:17:28.240 --> 00:17:30.680 Don't
