Show Notes, Episode 44: The Story That Drives Me
About this show:
Many of us have a story that drives what we do. We had a special teacher, or a great mentor, or even a horrible experience. Whichever it might have been, there is a story that is so deeply rooted in our psyche, that it drives what we do and how we do it. Today… my story.
“The problem is, what we focus on is the urgency more than the importance”
“The first principle is focusing on purpose, or what is important.
The second principle is focusing on problems, not symptoms.
The third principle is focusing on progress, instead of big change.
And the fourth principle is focusing on people instead of tasks”
“It doesn’t have to be this way. You don’t have to be fighting discipline all the time, you don’t have to be buried in the urgent stuff all the time”
