“Coherence in society calls for working together and creating the system where “I” becomes “WE”—where the parts maintain their unique identity while working together to maintain the integral coherence of the whole that they form. This is the principle we obtain from the quantum paradigm. Public policy is the field for the application of this principle. It defines the coexistence of unique but not separate individuals in coherent wholes, whether these wholes are states and nations, or businesses or social and cultural groups.”

We are in the midst of a shifting paradigm in which we can observe concepts that were once thought to have no place in the realm of empirical science, slowly being processed into mainstream thinking. This includes matters that were once deemed to be within the realm of spirituality. Still, however, negative preconceptions in the scientific community continue to persist, and ancient healing arts still tend to be written off as “pseudo-science” without further consideration. Dr. Jain occupies the vanguard of this transition, and she will enlighten us specifically on the roles consciousness and Eastern spirituality can play in healing both our bodies and our minds.
This intriguing conversation covers a multitude of topics including how music and aural therapy have been used to treat trauma and anxiety disorders, as well as the related field of biofield tuning—a therapy pioneered and developed by Eileen Day McKusick. Dr. Jain also discusses how her spiritual background as an adherent of the ancient Indian tradition of Jainism helps to shape her outlook.
Throughout this episode, Ervin and Fred will help to maintain a focus on the overarching question concerning how we are to think about acts of healing for the “individual” in the context of a universal consciousness, in which the singular and the whole are one in the same—and how this helps us to awaken in an era of Well-Being.
