2 Samuel 23 Seeing David as a man, a King, and as one who spoke Words of God.

In David we see a man of great diversity. In some cases he was a mere man, a son of Jesse who struggled with sin.

However, he was also God’s anointed King who was promised an eternal King from his seed and He also wrote many inspired words which became our Bible.

It is important we see him in all these ways and with discernment evaluate when we are seeing his humanness and when He is speaking and acting on behalf of God.
