It is a smorgasbord week and we are covering everything. Kate is back from a girls weekend, we are deep in our Amazon Prime era, and we have thoughts on books, reality TV, spy movies and green goddess recipes. Plus the most feel good World Cup story you have not heard yet involving a 40 year old goalkeeper named Vozinha, his mom, and a clean sheet against Spain that made the whole internet cry. Everything is not awful: Vozinha, a 40 year old goalkeeper nicknamed Granny, shut out tournament favorite Spain in Cape Verde's first ever World Cup match and went viral when he broke down in tears because his mom could not afford the visa to be there. Tech Tip: How to Avoid Sycophantic AI

  • Keep AI out of anything personal or relational. Human connection wins every time.

  • Seek out models trained to be more neutral like Claude Sonnet 4.6.

  • When prompting ask "what would a skeptic say?" It gives the model permission to push back and actually help you think.
