The battlelines are drawn to save some of the last remaining bushland in the Springfield area. The Save Woogaroo Forest group is making a last-ditch effort to save the bushland. Already there’s been global support from over 300 scientists and experts, and more than 21,500 people have signed a petition. One of the groups supporters is Dr Christina Zdenek urban birds program coordinator for BIrdLife Australia.
