Monetary Revolution

In this episode we look at Adam Back's Proof-of-Work. From a simple measure designed to counter spam emails, it was built on by Hal Finney and his Reusable Proof-of-Work (RPoW) to become the basis of Satoshi's bitcoin. Without proof-of-work, hashing (mining) as we know it would not have been possible and the time-stamp server would been impossible. Even Satoshi needs to stand on the shoulders of giants.
