अनुग्रहः

सूर्याजिपन्तस्य ज्येष्ठपुत्रं गङ्गाधरं 'श्रेष्ठ' पदेन निर्दिशति स्म । सः आसीत् शान्तस्वभावः । श्रेष्ठस्य भगवद्भक्तिः बाल्यात् एव अपूर्वा आसीत् । दशमे वयसि 'अनुग्रहप्रसादं यच्छतु' इति पितरम् अभ्यर्थितवान् । 'हनुमतः मन्दिरं गत्वा अभ्यर्थय' इति पिता अवदत् । पित्राज्ञां पुरस्कृत्य श्रेष्ठः मदिरं गत्वा एकादश दिनानि यावत् निराहारं स्थितवान् । बालकस्य एतां निष्ठां तपश्चर्यां च दृष्ट्वा मारुतिः प्रसन्नः भूत्वा श्रीरामचन्द्रस्य दर्शनं कारितवान् । श्रीरामचन्द्रेण देवालये त्रयोदशाक्षरमन्त्रं कथयित्वा 'रामीरामदासः' इति तस्य नाम कृतम् । ततः अग्रे सः यान् यान् ग्रन्थान् रचितवान्, तत्र सर्वत्र 'रामीरामदासः' इत्येव स्वस्य नाम्नः उल्लेखं कृतवान् ।

Surya Jipant’s eldest son, Gangadhara, was called Sreshta. Calm by nature, his devotion to God was extraordinary from childhood. At the age of ten, he asked his father for divine grace. His father directed him to pray at Hanuman’s temple. Obeying, Sreshta fasted there for eleven days. Seeing his steadfastness, Hanuman was pleased and arranged for him to have the vision of Lord Rama. In the temple, Rama gave him the thirteen-syllable mantra and named him Ramiramadasa. Later, in all the works he composed, he always mentioned his name as Ramiramadasa.

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
