Both the US and China have announced CPI inflation data in the last 24 hours and the headline numbers showed inflation moderating. The market reaction was muted with tech stocks being the main beneficiaries; the US dollar weakened, and US Treasuries rallied. Traders are now focused on whether a solution to the US debt default possibility can be found before 1st June.
