Death By DVD

Retrospective look at George A Romero (Re-release)

Show Notes

Welcome to Death By DVD Classics!

On this inaugural episode of this new segment we introduce our line of “beating a dead horse”! We take a classic LIVE BROADCAST episode of Death By DVD and master it to the best of our abilities and re-release it for your listening pleasure!

On this episode we have re-mastered a more recent show, and one of our last live broadcast. One we called “Philosophy Of The Dead”. This was initially a segment about George A Romero and the politics involved with his body of work that evolved into a new segment and now permanent part of Death By DVD.

Broadcast live on March, 22, 2019 I.Alexander Nash and Hank The Worlds Greatest discuss the philosophy and themes behind the work of the late great George Romero, and dig deep into the world beyond that.

We present to you the official re-release of “Philosophy Of The Dead : A George A Romero Retrospect”

What is Death By DVD?

Death By DVD: When watching is never enough.

We here at Death By DVD sit painfully through hours and hours of movies so you, the public, can make an informed decision of what you put in your ear holes and eye holes. Some of these films are good, some bad, and some even unmentionable; but ALL have one thing in common :

Watching all of these movies will one day melt our brains into a sloppy wet mush. No need to thank us, we were already methodically destroying ourselves with cinema. At least this way there is a permanent record of our demise.

As the midnight hour approaches, the smoke sets heavy, and the booze begins to flow like blood; tune in and drop through hell with your host Harry Scott Sullivan featuring horror artist I.Alexander Nash as we take you on a journey through the worlds of horror, gore, cult, strange, slashers, psychotronic, trash, twisted, gornography, weird, drive-in, cheesy, lost, rare, and frightening films.
