40 years ago this month The Jam released their 6th and final studio album The Gift. After the resulting Trans Global Express tour Paul Weller disbanded The Jam.
Tonight on It's A Way Of Life on Radio Mix in conjunction with www.liquidatormusic.com we are looking back at, and playing all of this great album and some of the other music around in 1982. As well as the Jam we have music from The Clash, The Stranglers, The Prisoners, The Beat, Madness, Secret Affair, Bad Manners, The Purple Hearts, and a great new track from up and coming band Fleeting Mind.

Steve Goodey presents 'It's A Way Of Life', a look at the Mod scene of the 60's and 80's, covering a wide range of musical styles and genres, with Rhythm and Blues, Motown, Ska, Reggae, and Northern Soul amongst others.
So dust off your parka, rev up that Lambretta, and get your dancing shoes on, as we celebrate 'It's A Way Of Life' every Sunday from 10 pm starting this Sunday, 4th August.
