Reading 1 Kings Chapter 12

Rehoboam makes his first major decision as king and does a very bad job of it. Jeroboam is declared king by the northern tribes. Rehoboam is warned by God not to fight Jeroboam. Jeroboam makes golden calves and tell the people that these are the gods that brought them out of Egypt. Read from the World English Bible.
