Reading 2 Kings Chapter 23

Josiah thoroughly destroys idols, altars, and wicked priests. He grinds things to dust and desecrates them with bones. Then he holds a Passover such as has not been seen in hundreds of years. Unfortunately, he makes a bad decision about going to war against Pharaoh Neco and, in spite of a disguise, is killed by an arrow. His son Jehoahaz become king, but is quickly taken prisoner by Neco, who sets up his older brother as a vassal king. Read from the World English Bible.
