The Secret Place - A Nighttime Prayer

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High God shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” – Psalm 91:1

Heavenly Father, I come before you seeking refuge in your divine presence.  For you have promised as we dwell in the secret place of the Most High that we can find shelter.  As I dwell in the secret place today, I am seeking your protection, guidance, and peace.

Cover me with your wings, and let your faithfulness be my shield and rampart.  Keep me safe from harm and guide my steps according to your will.  May your presence be my constant companion, and may I find rest and assurance under your mighty shadow. In Jesus name, I pray.  Amen
