Tis the season of Halloween, All Souls' Day, Samhain, and Dia de los Muertos. A time of transition and turning inward, when the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead becomes thinner. On today's episode of Rev'ing Up, Meagan and Carrie discuss their recent experiences with death and dying. We hear from Meagan on crafting memorial services for two different families this summer, and from Carrie on her personal experience with major grief and the ashes internment of her beloved husband William.
The inevitability of death can give new meaning to life and to participating in a religious community.
