Practicing the Practices

The wilderness has a way of stripping away the identities we've worked hard to construct and maintain. In this episode, Brad and Casey explore Thomas Merton's distinction between the false self and true self, and how our need for approval, achievement, control, and validation can become confused with who we really are. They discuss the freedom of loosening our grip on those constructed identities and learning to live from our identity as God's beloved.

Each episode will introduce you to a Discipleship Practice and provide a tutorial of sorts to show you how to practice the Way of Jesus in your everyday life.

While this is a local church podcast, we have geared and shaped it for a broad audience. Were hopeful that they are beneficial to followers of Jesus everywhere.
