Ḥoni's Circle

In this week's episode of Ḥoni's Circle, we talk about Ḥoni the Circle Maker, (our namesake), and what a story in Mishna Ta'anit can tell us about how ancient Jews related to droughts, floods, weird weather, and zealots. We go on to discuss how zealots are sometimes very motivating for a movement and sometimes alienating, and even if our tradition doesn't give us clear answers about how to relate to someone with a burning passion for change, we, as always, have a wealth of tradition about them to study.
